well to onosaka's credit, Japanese voice actors dont have to worry about matching the lip flaps, since the scene isnt fully animated yet when they do voice work

I usually settle for the dub or sub specifically for certain anime but with bleach I watch both. Either version is done so well and you get the same feel from the characters. Well done from both
The only thing the English dub did better in that regard was the lip syncing was a bit more on point, because the English VA did the whole pause between ban and kai while the Japanese VA didn't, and it shows in the clip. Which is WEIRD considering the Japanese voice lines are recorded first before the lip syncing is even animated IIRC. Otherwise, they're both dead even, which is amazing considering how bad dubs usually are.
The differences are so subtle, in general tone and vowel pronunciation. They are smooth though, velvety. It's beautiful, this scene, the music, their voice acting, the ripple effect on their voices is as hypnotic to me as it is to those Quincy.
I really want CFYOW animated solely because Shinji gets a massive dub there and his voice is probably my favorite across both dub and sub aside from Aizen (which is funny given the CFYOW thing being semi-related to Aizen)
What’s so cool about this is that as I was watching this episode I was in a café, and I thought my Internet was lagging because during the intro it kept buffing. So I thought when he did his bon Kai , the frame rate and visuals were too much, so I thought it switched to Japanese because it sounded so amazing. that voice actor deserves a raise.

Honestly I reserve the Ban....Kai pause for first time reveals and epic usage of bankai. Other wise I'm fine with a quick Bankai.
