As a GSD owner, they are great dogs. Yes, they need structure and training but they are amazingly loyal, smart and loving. I agree with the fur issue and being a Velcro dog. Dogs are pack animals establishing who’s the pack leader is essential. All dogs can be destructive giving them plenty of exercise helped us with less mishaps. Keeping their weight down will also aid with any hip/joint issues that may arise, GSDs are our favorite dog. Yes, know what you’re getting into when you choose one, but they are amazing.
