They should just make grinds increase in value after a low roll. So if a leg speed grind rolls 4 instead of 5 next time you grind it guaranteed a 5 . Same for the other stat grinds goes up by one

ignoring the horns and claws is very significant, they just need a way to be able to focus on specific sets. Increasing the drop rate of the horns and claws would achieve this and it's also good for trying to get regular players to make use of other sets outside of the main ones.
According to the "land debuff / defbreak all the time if you have 100 acc": I would attache it to the acc cap. Like if we have a acc cap from 35 for giants, make it - idk 30? - higher than it would need to be, to remove res check. That way we don´t need to build every unit at a 100 acc if it should land debuffs AND there is some more reason for this cap if you aren´t very much of a beginner.
Completely agree with this video! It is insanely difficult to get the grinds you need! I farm for gems to get claws to get grinds. But, the only way you can get intangible grinds is from R5 and you just never get them! Com2Us please listen to Seiishizo and your userbase and fix R5!
here is how i would fix it (prior to watching the video) 1. The balanced one: Put the grindstones in Rift Beast and not Raid, change the rewards in raid completely for something different idk what but something else. that way we can focus a certain set just like gems but without it being too much. OR 2. The op one: Allow us to chose 10 sets, considering the fact that there is 23 sets in the game ... i don't think that's too much to ask. for example: vio, swift, despair, will, intangible, nemesis, vampire, destroy, shield, revenge. You can then replace the sets you want to farm (maybe with a limit per month or smth) and voila 3: Other changes They should ABSOLUTELY make it so that once you use a grind it cannot be the same stat but at least +1(%) above, for instance on a spd grind if i get a +3 the next one HAS to be +4 and then a +5 guaranteed if i use a legendary. that way instead of gambling on possibly getting the stat we want we could guarantee it, on top of that blue grinds could be very useful and if people still want to gamble with a legendary from the start they could and only use a couple legendary per rune instead of god knows how many.
just remouve the normal drop and leave the horn and stuf so every one will farm for those and craft what the people need. in my opinion that is the best way whidout put a r6
For R5, I think of a mechanic where you are able to "infuse" the R5 boss with one or more of the elemental beasts, so that you're able to drop only the grinds correspinding of what that beast drop.
i`m a big fan of the +1 idea. Farming for legi hp% on will only for it to roll lower then it was is just stupid in my opinion. Let`s say your really unlucky and you need the hp% grind 5 times because it only rolls +1 it still is an insane amount of famring for 1 rune for 1 sub stat. A change to r5 is necessary at this point i i don`t know how com2us don`t {or won`t) to see this.
I am always surprised that all peoples that talking about grinds/gems issues never think about removing blue shit from all the b5 (raid,rift and dimensions) looks like the easiest first step to me.
All grinds need to reduce the low rolls as you progress. For example HP grind 7-11% grind. As soon as 8% rolls 7% is no longer possible 8%+ As soon as 10% grind rolls that becomes the new minimum. Meaning 5 grinds is the absolute max grinds needed to max any % stat at hero quality
I think that grinds should work differently as well. If you have let's say a +9% HP, the lower legendary grind options should be ignored - so the possible outcomes should be 9% and 10%, with each one having a 50% chance
a lot of good suggestions to fix R5, but here's one that i think can kill all birds with one stone: Give us a system to "recycle" bricked grinds/gems, similar to what we already have for runes with Rune Essences. You would obtain this item (call it, say "Rune Dust") by either selling grinds/gems OR if you fail to achieve an improvement upon use. You would then use it (likely a large amount of this dust) to guarantee +1. - Solves the problem of rolling +4 spd time after time after time. You will eventually get that last point.. or if you already have enough currency saved up, you can get it right then and there. - Solves the problem of there being too many useless rune sets that dilute the pool of usable drops. This is a universal currency, so you can essentially trade the bad stuff in for progress towards something you actually need. - Solves the problem of grind/gem storage. There'd be less reason to hoard, since as mentioned, everything can be recycled into a universal currency. - Solves the problem of guarantee +1 being too op. Basically allows them to scale it down by choosing a price for the guarantee.
An idea could also be to select a bunch of rune types that you can farm r5 for. Though you are forced to select e.g. Blade if you selected vio (eg. Blade Vio Despair Destroy Determination Swift Fatal)
if none of what you said is creative enough, hear this out. rift crystals used to craft grinds/gems in respect to where the crystal drops (fire crystal craft dropping vamp/despair/fight/ all of the specific drops from it) would make a huuuge change at the very least with rift crystal usage

Make fusion for grinds/gems sounds helpful. Like 10 grinds/gems with same grade and same type, can be 1 new with a higher grade. Let say 10 grind blue +spd vio turns into 1 grind hero +spd vio. Its not OP i think. U still need to farm a alot but you still can get something that u need just by a little bit easier.

no res check would be nice and some monster should have perfect ai brandia roberta etc. something else. They hit harder if with debuffs they should use that skill if a debuff is on.

i think grinds shouldn't be +1 instantly but a increasing chance after x amount of rolls, so for hp% I'm 19 legend grinds deep and still only +8% which is stupid, so for each grind/gem it should be a increasing chance to always get max roll on that specific rune, say speed it would be 50/50 but 2nd is 60/40 3rd is 70/30 so on so forth, (5% with current drop rates would be too little of a chance improvement Imo)

Can't disagree, rune farming is pain but you see results in end of day but R5 is different animal. I go in only when i am desperate, i need butt loads of certain grinds which i cant really get..

They need to get rid of the useless stat runes & grinds/enchants (energy, guard, tolerance, etc) sw is too much of a grind even without those but it’ll make it feel better to get the things you actually need. A lot of the playerbase is leaving even streamers & pros so they need to fix these issues

R5 Sucks! Here's an idea. Sell grinds for crafting materials. With crafting materials, you can select the grind type and stats at a cost like you do with legend rune crafts
It takes to much time to grind/gem a rune to its full potential, if for the best players it takes to much time and resource imagine for the mid/casual players, it takes to much time to get devilmons, it takes to much time to get nat 4 skill ups! Ive been playing for a couple years, I have good runes for a f2p account, I have stablized my account, I can do all content, have decent rankings, now I have a lot of nat 5s I have summoned and want to play with, I need almost 380 devilmons(its going to take me forever to skill them all) Nowadays you can get decent runes to compete in gw and Rta fairly quickly but the rest like grinds and gems dont keep up with the rune you get It sttil to much of a waiting simulator... They have to change this if they want the game to feel fresh and competitve

Besides it's basically not really an improvement since you still need grind a bunch of useless fodder just to get the one and now you're not even getting the other ones you also wanted, so you're back where you started + all the other issues stated here. The too many Runes fix shouldn't be gatekept by new content either, new content should improve rates and rewards imo.
I am in support for improvements, don't use the fact that I've been doing a lot of r5 against me.. Honestly 10 slots still feels high which to c2u means too low so going to try to tip it down to a 6 which might equate to an 8 to 12 in their eyes. Also if the rolls are weighted towards the lower end, remove that and make the chance even among the options. Idk if this is implemented in summoners war, but a 9 should have the same chance to roll as a 5. An example Sad face 5: 40% 6: 30% 7: 20% 8: 10% 9: 5% Happy face 5, 6, 7, 8, 9: 20% Don't make R5 harder, but expand could also mean these features are hidden behind a hard wall many players can't do and for farming, not a fan of, so don't lock these features behind a harder instance but rather improve rates and rewards with more difficult instances but improve too many rune types fix to all.
But raids are fixed, they give nothing and that's how is suposed to be for c2us, maybe a speed vio legend today, maybe a speed will 4 a week after that and so on. Why you think so many people don't have a ld 5 after a decade of playing, rates are way too much predatory.
I dont know what you guys are complaining about. I always get lots of the legendary grinds I want and need. I have too many just sitting in my storage. I think you guys need to farm more. Just kidding. Please fix R5. 🙏 🙏
A small objection from my end: The vast majority of reliable Speed Teams require obscenely good Fight Runes, and anyone claiming otherwise is straight up deluding themselves or caught in a bubble of having too many obscenely good runes already. So putting Fight into the spectrum of not needed Grinds is just flat out not true in my humble opinion. Other than that, personally I believe the best way to address R5, is for solo runs to feature 3 drops per win, not 1, as after all you still need 3 teams. At the same time, the best solution would be to include Immemorial Grinds in R5 with the exact the same droprate as common everything else, or at the very least for legendaries. Because even though that is still super rare, it's also the most flexible. I'd rather be able to exclude certain grind/gem stats than rune sets. Because for the love of god, I don't need my tenthousands Rage Res Gem, nor my fivethousands flat defense grind.

Used 10 hero vio hp% gem ended up at 8% after all of them.

Even with the booster event. I didn't actually notice any difference in drop rate for grinds when it was activated
Booster event was pretty bad for raid in the first place as the drop table is way too large compared to dungeon drop tables

I think buffing horn drop rate would help and then also add the ability to turn gems and grinds into horns at like a 3-1 ratio or something.

Just remove the blue grinds and increase the legendary grinds by a 20/25% more

i farmed r5 for about a week recently... i got 12spd grinds in total, but around 50 def% (only hero/leg counted). its ridiculous.

Nah, even HP% is rare. It's obviously tiered for flat to be the most common then % then speed. Which is an even deeper scam towards the players

Tbh its way better to farm rift beast and get the grinds through the beast-claw drops than to farm r5
What about the legend grinds that gives you blue rates? Maybe make the legends give you minimum purple minus one could also help?
Yeah I boosted r5 swift and was getting like 1.5 grindstones per 90 runs.....

But raids are fixed, they give nothing and that's how is suposed to be for c2us, maybe a speed vio legend today, maybe a speed will 4 a week after that and so on.

No r5 is good so
A small objection from my end:
The vast majority of reliable Speed Teams require obscenely good Fight Runes, and anyone claiming otherwise is straight up deluding themselves or caught in a bubble of having too many obscenely good runes already. So putting Fight into the spectrum of not needed Grinds is just flat out not true in my humble opinion.
Other than that, personally I believe the best way to address R5, is for solo runs to feature 3 drops per win, not 1, as after all you still need 3 teams.
At the same time, the best solution would be to include Immemorial Grinds in R5 with the exact the same droprate as common everything else, or at the very least for legendaries. Because even though that is still super rare, it's also the most flexible.
I'd rather be able to exclude certain grind/gem stats than rune sets. Because for the love of god, I don't need my tenthousands Rage Res Gem, nor my fivethousands flat defense grind.
