I came back a few days ago from Shanghai, when I saw this car in yellow with a black roof I was amazed. For the next 3 days, I looked around the parking lots to see which car this was. Eventually I found out it was a Zeekr 001. I haven't been this amazed since I was a kid and saw the BMW 850 for the first time. Trust me guys, this car looks better and much, much more powerful in person. The German auto industry should seriously worry about what will happen in the next 5 years. Many Chinese models seem to be 5 to 10 years ahead of European and American vehicles. I think this accelerated transition to electric cars has only impressed the Chinese auto industry. We must be aware that we are entering an era in which cars will be used for 10 years and that Chinese cars will be of sufficient quality. At the same time, it should be known that a huge number of European and international experts are currently working in China who could not express themselves in their primary factories while the Chinese embraced them with open arms. You should also know that Chinese factories have been producing various parts for European cars for years and that they are now more than capable of producing a quality product.
When you see all these Chinese cars with the latest tech and design for an affordable price you realize those other brands are just playing with you and stealing your hard-worked money.
Saw this model yesterday at Shenzhen. It's impressive and so affordable like RMB300K. Wow. It even has a driver seat projector for speed and side turning indicator. The interior space feels like an SUV model but the exterior looks like a Cayenne. Bravo for this model
This excellently equipped electric car from China is really impressive. If the prices in Germany will be roughly comparable to those in China, I won't buy a BMW again. I only hope that the Zeekr 001 with the 140 kWh battery will also be offered in a version with 400 kW power (currently the 001 with the largest battery unfortunately only has 200 kW) and a maximum speed of more than 200 km/h (I'm driving with up to 250 km/h on the German autobahn). Actually they released the 001FR with +1200hp that's awesome but I'm wondering if it will come with the 140kwh batt. Love the hp but I'm more interested in the massive battery they say 1000km but realistically~800km is still so impressive!!!

I originally thought the regular 001 would have 800 volt charging and was disappointed to find out that it has not. I will definitely not buy a 400 volt electric car. I want superfast charging as known from Hyundai, Kia, Genesis, some Audi e-Tron and Porsche. Geely's SEA platform can deliver 400 and 800 volts so you have to be carefull what you get. I want a powerful and fast electric car with 140 kWh CATL Qilin CTP 3.0 battery and 800 volt charging system. The brand doesn't matter, just these equipment. I won't switch from my diesel BMW to a BEV beforehand, but then I'll be happy to do.

Because BYD hybrids offers 50 - 150km EV range, plus gas range they can go up to 1400km, with insane sub 4L/100KM consumptions, and capability of 0 gas spending for daily commute. This is why they've been selling like hot cakes
