Everyone dreams of getting to an amusement park and finding hardly anyone else there so there are no lines. Unfortunately it looks a little sad without the crowds and laughter. Not sure which I’d prefer.
Several years ago, we went to Tampa Busch gardens the week before most college springs breaks. TOTALLY EMPTY. Weird but great to just walk on any ride.
That drive thru event at Magic Mountain was kind of awesome...we got the popcorn pack and the hot chocolate and brownies. Even my girlfriend who works at Universal Studios and doesn't like the rides at Six Flags anymore, thought it was cool to drive thru the park.
As much as I have a personal disdain for Magic Mountain, I actually think that Holiday in the Park is probably one of the better holiday offerings out of all the SoCal parks. Maybe it's nostalgia, maybe I'm just a sucker for Christmas lights, but I really enjoy this time of year at that park. I pretty much hate it the rest of the year though. Also having snoap right under Revolution like that... gosh that park has learned nothing. When I worked there, during Fright Fest, the fog kept messing with the sensors on the ride and would constantly cause it to shut down. Then they finally removed the fog from there, but now I see they're back at it again with SNOAP this time. Maybe this won't do anything, but I remember the fight Operations had with Entertainment on that issue

I think magic mountain management doesn’t get their park has little of anything to do by way of families looking for a holiday theme park experience. A lot of people my age aren’t interested in white knuckle rides anymore and some lights etc aside, what else would you go there for. It is their thing I understand, but they definitely are a one trick pony that misses a lot of business from the other segment of park visitors imo. I truly hope this merge doesn’t mess up Knotts who has been leaning more this way again already.
To this day I just don’t understand why such a park can’t do anything Christmas related with the looney tunes or justice league Like Knotts, SeaWorld and even Legoland do all this but this park would be more worth seeing if they did such thing They bearly do any meet and greets here

How does this place stay open? First Friday of December and the place looks like a ghost town. Kurt Crucial went there for Fright Fest and it was unimpressive.
If you have a parka or a heavier jacket that won't let the wind through, you may want to take it with you out here this time of year. Make sure you have a hood on it so you can pull it up. That kind of cold is awful. And Daphne may want to wear warmer pants. She looked really pretty, but during the winter dress warmly and wear more layers. 😊

Do you not like roller coasters or go on them Adam? Or do you go on them and just can't film on them? I go to Cedar Point every Summer and they won't even allow Go Pros on the Coasters. Love seeing you and Daphne together.

If you want a good Christmas time holiday theme park, Silver Dollar City in Branson is truly where it's at. Only seen one video of you there... but that was a long time ago.

I used to visit Disneyland on the times the weather was like this. Wait time was zero, and parking was almost at the front gate. I'd do the Haunted House and Pirates many times. Just exit the attraction, and go right back through again.
There is a reason, I was there a month ago... holy cow that place is a dump. Used to go a lot late 90s and early 2000s. Was a great place then. Now just sad
I was just talking to my sister yesterday about six flags over Texas. Our family and friends would go to the I one in Arlington Texas all the time in the 90s. We'd also go to the big Wet n Wild across the freeway. Was just remembering and taking with her about all those goodness and, BAM you go to six flags 🎉😊

It's really sad to see MM so empty. It is hard to imagine it lasting much longer. Despite the distance, MM was the only park you wanted to be at if you were a teen or young adult not that long ago. The roller coasters were unmatched, it just more on point for those wanting more thrills, less fantasy. It is still a better deal if you love coasters.
