You might get better defense results if you place the grand cannon in the middle. It wasted so much time targeting the one conscript on the edge of the water
And this is why you layer defences, sentry/bunker up front, coil/control/prism middle, cannon in back.
Fill the bunker with yuri unit and mybe prism tank instead of gatling tank

I thought that they couldn't break through the defense even in the first one, because only the grand canon should have killed them all, as it turned out they can! Moreover, the second time too. Thank you very much for the video, I watch all your videos. You showed me many times that 1 against 1 units lose, but crowd on crowd, the same units give the opposite result. In real life, everything works exactly the same, the quantity is important!

And if you aim at the units yourself, then just 1 gatting tank will kill them all, if you control it manually while keeping the distance.
Maybe with different position could yield different result.
what about you know a proper defence layout like the grand cannon in the back behind some other turrets and what knock? You have it streched out so that all the turrets can be attacked at once ....
What if you try to put them in a better formation for example the grand cannon in the back, the slower but bigger hitting towers (tesla coil, prism, psychic) in the middle and the fast firing ones in the front.
The base defences could've won the 2nd fight if the grand cannon aimed better.
Shame structures can't get promotions like units can. Kind of a game changer

It all depends on the placement and which target the soldiers attack first etc. For example prism tower is slow, so I would destroy it later than the bunker or the grand cannon which can kill multiple units, but grand cannon should be more in the back to be effective.
Its weird, attack in real life costs more than defence.

Some of those defense buildings aren't good against conscripts. A line of gattling cannons or bunkers filled with conscripts for the same cost would probably kill all of them.
Can be better if just go left line to finish grand canon first, then go behind defense

Wow, base defenses are _trash_ in RA2. RA1 tesla coil and pillbox would have made browned minced meat out of them.
No, it's just cons are so damn cost effective and actually pretty sturdy. So a wave of these guys in such big numbers is a a real deal.
The base defenses win if you manually target prioritize. For example in the video the grand cannon wasted a lot of aoe splash damage.
a few flame towers and rockets kill them, infantry just melt in RA1
Or, infantry is trash in RA1. Whereas in RA2, infantry is much better. Conscripts in particular are rediculously cost effective.
