Work on a steep land ain't easy. I have a 1 acre land with some bush on it, I cleaned the half with an axe. This year I bought a home made tractor, that will help a lot, but it's hard to drive it on that steep field. I guess you have some issues too. Great videos, nice place, nice tractor, good music and good people. Keep up the good quality and I wanna see more and more videos!
Your doing a awesome job my new friend , I'm watching every video and looking forward to seeing more . I do most of my woodworking outside and on my back porch when it rains , but I enjoy every moment of it . Keep up the good work .
Thanks again for getting back to me.you made good choices on the wood for your black Smith shop. I tried to move to Eureka springs in 1991 as a mechanic but opportunities were limited so I packed up and came back home. Always work hard to make your dreams come true.
Really love your videos guys! But what really baffles me: I am a carpenter from Germany, and the diameters of the wood you use for building is pretty much the diamater of the wood I use for starting a fire. I never understood why it is so common to use such little woodpicks to build something in NA :D A commong diamater for a rafter would be 12x10 ( 4,72 x 3,9 inches ) for a shed, also a common post would be 8x8 or 10x10 for a shed ( 3,9 x 3,9 inches ). I can see from your videos that you are a capable craftsman, but those diamaters are just toothpicks for me.
You say you use posts 3.9"x3.9", and you call his toothpicks? Maybe my eyes are bad, but the posts he's using look like they're at least 6"x6" (15x15cm).
Really enjoy watching and learning from these videos.
You've got a beautiful piece of property. Makes bulding a real challenge. Keep at it your making progress. You'll be through B4 u know it.

What kind of wood is the framy of your black Smith shop made with?
The four by four post that go into the ground are red cedar and the purlins and rafters are red oak

Your place reminds me of some of the places we've had. Lots of rocks and steep. Looking forward to seeing your progress.
