One of the saddest back stories of a song is tell Lori I love her. The song he recorded by himself before he died.
I still have the CD that includes that song and the raw emotion you can hear in his voice still gives me chills just thinking about it.

My grandpa loved Lorrie Morgan and my dad always blamed her for Whitley’s death. I guess it’s not fair to blame anyone but Keith for that but he will always be one of my all time greats.

@@ericpitre4031 he drank an insane amount of alcohol , took a combination of pills and cocaine while she was gone for a couple of days. His actions or addictions were completely uncontrollable . Especially when she wasn't around. It's a shame.

Couple months later the news came he had drank himself to death! Guess the devil came back! Was sad! The 80s was such a greaf time for country music, the singers, the clubs, and for this to happen to him it must have came to a head at home! More to the story! He ended it! Loved her music too! Wonder what pushed him over the edge! Lori and Sammy?
