Deion isn’t going anywhere. The fact that he just landed JuJu proves that he’s in it for the long haul. He’s been preparing for the time that Shedeur moves on, as well as Travis. The fact that he’s making so much of a difference in Boulder; winning record, coaches that are HOF status, students that want to play there. He’s letting the money and attention COME TO HIM, and it’s working very well. If I was running the program at Colorado, I would do whatever it takes to keep Coach Prime there.

This is my opinion. Deion isn't going anywhere because he can dictate the players he gets. You can't do that in the NFL, you're at the mercy of the GM & salary caps, draft position etc. But not in College football, he went out and got him a top QB to play after his top QB is preparing to leave. He can't just go out and get a Mahomes or a Josh Allen just like that.

You'd think considering his miserable failures trying to control everything over the last 25 years or so that in his 80s, he'd be willing to step aside and hand the reigns to someone like Deion who would not accept the job if Jerry was going to be on his back day after day. Having said that, I am not convinced that Deion has what it takes to be an elite NFL coach. He might, but to me he has big liabilities that are easy to overlook with the man being as flamboyantly charismatic as he is.
