However, their true colors and motives rushed to the surface when Trump decided to run, and run as a republican. I voted Trump the last 2 elections and he will get my vote for a 3rd time come November. Around the first of this year I finally changed my party to Republican.

Pa is a CLOSED primary state. Democrats often switch party affiation to vote against the guy they dont like. For example, if they wanted the delegates to go to Hailey, they have to switch party affiliation to vote against Trump.

People in close primary states (meaning you have to be registered in the party to vote in primaries) often register as "the other" party to vote in primaries and impact who the candidate will be to go up against who they actually support, and vote for in the general elections....

In 2016 I was 17 turned 18 in October, in high school we got our registration papers to fill out and I put down Republican, but definitely in no way knew which way I was leaning yet. Voted independent since then, don't like either party really, but someone would look at my registration and think i'm republican, which is just wrong. That shit isn't evidence but of course people will jump on it. He was bullied in school and had to fill out those papers in a high school full of republicans, he could have been scared to fill it out the other way, or even just didn't know yet. They have been calling Trump hitler the last 3 years, shit is more extreme than ever, what does that do to the mind of a young man?
