They are! If you have a problem doing them, my suggestion is simple, don't overthink it! One tip to remember is that when adding more ink, don't panic if it removes a little of the ink you just laid down. Just have fun! Even after it drys, don't use alcohol to clean it. Wait until you have your epoxy on it.

I made a tumbler like that almost 5 years ago, it sold SO well and is still one of my best sellers. Using alcohol inks and a chip brush really does give the best realistic woodgrain.

Is it expected for the 1st coat to pull away from the top of the tumbler? It literally pulled itself away from the edge, I definitely have enough epoxy
