For my case, we just changed our router. Once your in the downloaded application, it will give you a step-by-step process on how to connect your laptop's wifi and printer. However, I think you need a laptop, PC, or phone to do this. Basically, just download the link in the description box and it will already guide you :)

I banged my head on this and stumbled across a different approach getting my laptop to connect to the Wifi direct of the printer and then the setup could insert the wifi settings into the printer this way without a USB. We just bought this. Just wondering why the cyan ink tank was not filled up to the brim even though we emptied everything in the bottle. The ink tank for the other colors were filled up to the brim, as expected.

@@saravanakumarn14 I came from a Laser printer so speed is obviously slower than that. For an Inkjet, the speed is fine. Regular document printing is quick. Photo/Graphic printing is slower but that's with all Inkjet printers.

It is as per instructions from Canon. It needs to intitiate and detect that the tanks are empty. If you fill without turning on, it may still work I guess but that's not what Canon instructions say so I'd avoid doing so.
You can either connect it via USB to your computer OR if you follow the steps mentioned in this video after 4:54, as the printer has Wifi, you connect it to your home router/internet using Wifi and then you can print wirelessly from any computer/laptop/mobile device connected with the same home network.

Hello! Thank you for your comment. I have not tried sticker paper but it should have no issue with it as long as you use the right paper. You can take a look at the Sticker paper produced by Canon itself which this printer supports on the specs page of this printer, which I will link at the end here. You can then choose similar type of after market paper, which may be cheaper. The prints are clear so far, it handles small details well. No prints have appeared smudgy so far, the prints dry quickly. Since you will be doing business then one thing I have noticed with this. When you select Borderless print, for example, to print out bordlerless letter heads, then it won't let you select Plain paper type. I found it annoying as changing to other paper types such as photo paper glossy, will result in a print that is not color accurate at all. The best result will come in Matte photo paper selected in this case and you you further optimize color output of the print by going into advanced settings. No, you have to print manually on both sides by selecting the option in print settings i.e. odd or even pages will print first then flip them back and continue to print the remaining pages on the blank side.
@@Mmmporok If you have the option to return or exchange, look for Canon Pixma G5070 or G6070 but they will be double the price atleast. So check these two models with Auto-Duplex but may be out of budget.
Are you talking about the first/after initial setup? or it has gone wrong later on? If the BK checks and lines are not being printed (faded) or no print at all, it means you need to run Canon IJ Printer Assistant Tool and do "Cleaning" twice, if it doesn't work then do "Heavy/Advanced Cleaning" from the utility. If black prints are not straight i.e. not aligned then need to run the alignment sub tool from IJ Printer Assistant Tool. Hello, I hope someone can help me! I own a Canon Pixma G3010, and I really need to unplug it sometimes but the problem is that the printer does not fully turn off when I press the power button when it is initially connected to WiFi. The ON lamp just keeps on flashing. I tried leaving it for a couple of minutes to hours but it won't stop neither. And for me to be able to turn the printer ON again, I had to unplug it without it being fully turned off. The next time I plug it ON, there's a prompt that says that I unplugged the printer incorrectly which may cause damage. I hope you can help me. Also, the printer will only fully turn off (with the ON lamp completely off) if it is not connected to any WiFi or wireless device upon turning it on, which I find absurd considering that it is a wireless printer.

If you are refering to the Blinking it does when you power it off, then that's normal. Do not turn it off directly from power outlet. Press the power button on Printer, when it blinks, it is adjusting itself and cleaning the heads before turning off.

Installation went easily though the HP Smart Printing doesn't work well with our laptops - having to select the actual device. Will have to see how the HP Instant Ink program works out. Plus haven't been able to set up printing from smartphone yet - either direct or WiFi
