The issue I have with language schools in Japan is the lack of diverse housing offers. I am IT professional and I want to take 6 month break to come to Japan and study japanese (preferable outside Tokyo, as I have lived in Tokyo before and want to see new places). I am over 30 and I don't want to live in a dorm. The schools have no offer of FURNISHED modern apartments (I don't want to buy furniture and apiances for just 6 months) in near vincity. And it is impossible to find and apartment to rent on the free market for just 6 months. I thought maybe airbnb but they never have a work study place. There will be tiny 30m2 apartament with 3 beds (!), but no desk+ergonomic chair, no closet space, no way to work and study and enjoy life in Japan (I mean I get that the target are turists who stay for a week and spend time outside sightseeing)... This frustrates me. There are some nice serviced apartments/condo hotels but rents start at 350000 or even more where I could afford about half of that.

For my case, I’m not allowed a student visa for language school because I already completed undergraduate program.
Also nice to see you made a new video!

Undergraduate program in what field ? Did you mean in Japanese language or under graduate?

@@sagarjamatia565 I graduated from undergraduate program at international university in Tokyo, and they denied my application for Student Visa for Language school I wanted to go for in Osaka. Reason is because (what they explain) going to university is supposed to be after language school and cannot go backwards.

@@YellowxMagic you mean you completed undergraduation in English from Tokyo university right ? Now you wanna enroll in language school in Osaka but they don't allow student visa twice ?

@@YellowxMagic I don't think all schools will reject you. There are some graduate programs that require you to know japanese before applying. Plus, you could say you want to find a job in Japan after graduation and need to learn japanese applying for one.
