- In the dimly lit folk clubs of the 1960s and '70s, songs like, 'The One I Love' and 'Saturday Dance', charmed the night. Mike McClellan was one of Australia's few commercially successful 'folk' singer/songwriters from that era. His return to the music scene in 2011, after twenty-five years away from the stage, will delight those who know his work and surprise those who don't -- for McClellan is undoubtly one of Australia's finest singer/songwriters.

i heard this song when i was young. if i am not mistaken i heard it was from early 80s , 83 to 84 and it is one of my favorites and i used to sing it all the time at those of my younger years. glad that it was posted here.
