Stell was under the weather that day they said the staff told him to go home and rest but he continued with the show. And during their practice he was cracking and during the recording the live audience was so nervous that he may not hit those high notes but he nailed it and A'tin was amazed that he still nailed it.
Having to sing when you're congested and feverish is so difficult, I'm so impressed to know now that he was under the weather and still sang so flawlessly.
Stell was a bit short of breath here especially at the beginning of the song. He had stuffy nose and fever that time. I was present throughout the filming process. Earlier that day, he had rehearsals with SB19, (performing 'Liham' on The Voice Gen). The taping session commenced in the afternoon, extending until very late in the evening, with this particular performance being recorded past midnight. Even though he felt unwell and his fever rose, the staff suggested he go home and rest. Instead, Stell chose to push through and continue taping, showing his dedication and commitment.
Thanks for the background info, always so interesting to know all the details we don't see on camera. He always gives 110%, so I am not surprised that he still chose to stay and sing - that's our Stell! :)
Stell deserves to be a coach, nobody has the right to question it. He's like SM, he has it all! 😌
Congratulations and Kudos to JAMIE MILLER's determination to fulfill his dream/desire to have a Duet with STELL. He "fell" for STELL's Vocals watching STELL singing "Here's Your Perfect" Video. He followed this by postings of his desire to sing with STELL. He unashamedly and patiently pursued to have a Collaborative work with STELL even after watching SB19's Concert in LA, where he gave a short Interview. He is a True STELL Fan who patiently waited (over a year) and Never gave up to make his dream to finally have a Duet Collab with STELL. I suppose this was one main reason STELL did not let JAMIE down to go on with the Taping that late night, despite his being very sick that day.

I want to see Stell sing with maybe Adam Lambert, Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande or Pentatonix. But most of all, I want to see him sing in a Broadway show, even just once. Maybe as a guest artist.

I was blessed that I witnessed this live. We are so nervous that Stell might not hit or reach the high notes that time because he was sick. He and the rest of SB19 performed twice their LIHAM performance. Then recording the show for how many hours. Me as an audience felt my energy got drained and to think I'm just seating there and watching. Stell and Jaime performed this also twice. But we are all relief when Stell nailed this.
I got sick after when I got home 😅.
That's why I can't go the next day shooting of TVG. But Stell still work as if he is not unwell.

That collab was 2 yrs in the making and Stell doesn't want to disappoint as he was asked to go home since he was sick.
And I think they lowered the key or this was Jamie's original key. Stell's version on TikTok, the one that Jamie saw, was much higher.
Btw, this was the day Stell found out the issue about their name and logo that's why by elimination time, he really got emotional and cried so hard.

His dream duet or collab is Bruno Mars. There was a video 2 years ago where Strll & Pablo were being funny challenging Bruno to do a collab, but they meant it even though they made it seem like they are joking.
