@Millin4500 thanks... you have to make the rear arm spring stiffer.... your sled cant sack out when you take off... you won't get a F7 to stand up like that... youll have to get a 600RS if you want to... sorry man.
got the same sled, do you have the hot start unplugged? just wondering cause on dootalk they say not to hold the throttle open for too long so i was just wondering if you have it done or not and have had any issues? thanks
@TBrown945 I find the standing position to be about the same for jumping. I really like how the XP jumps. Its really twitchy but you can adjust the sled how ever you want.
@Desjarlais07 Ok ok my limiter strap is not stupidly tight.. If you have ridden a 08 600RS which i assume you have cuz every one on youtube has, you would know that it has very stiff steering... a little tighter center shock and alittle loose limiter strap helps things out abit... its not soo loose you cant ride the sled any more... my skis are still planted on the trail...
@summit600kid yeah hot start is cut. I'm not shy holding mine wide open. 280 mains are pretty conservative. I droped my needle aswell. I think its in the leanest position. Even tho the needle has nothing to do with WFO. I'm just running 91. mixxing my oil 47:1 ... 3000 miles... no issues. :)
@600etecXRS Every one dynoed at exactly 134.5? I cant see 2 motors being exactly the same. also it changes depending on what dyno it was on.... you believe everythign you read on the internet?
Alright, you said your running 280's in there? And whats your limiter straps set at and your coil springs ? Mine doesnt seem to want to stay up that long
@bzhfbz ok thanks a lot man, gonna cut mine, what elevation you at? im running 300s at 900ft but on a warm day i get a bottom end bog, yours seems to run amazing so maybe ill drop to 280s, thanks for the reply
@anonymzs yeah the sway bar is the first thing to go when the racers get there sleds.... mine didnt have it on when i got it... i have the sway bar tho... but i dont have any plans to put it on
@codyabbott608 There is really no need to "mod" it.... it comes stock with V-force reeds and a great pipe. I put a 7" fly riser and a fly flat bar. The stock 8" was to high and im 6'3".
@theallmightymozzphan I'm not sure what the total snow fall was. For a while it was to much for my short tracker. it rained all today tho so no more powpow.
Hey man, i just bought an 08 rs and have been riding it without cutting the hot start button yet, i'll cut it tomorrow, but having rode it without cutting it shouldnt hurt it at all would it? And is yours an 08 too ?
best vid for sure supporting t bay really good james!!!!!!!!!!... deff the biggest catty on you tube i dont think some one can top that!!!!!... and you could have made it longer to ahah!!!!!
the only thing that would be different is that the RS has power jets and does not need to be jetted for different temperatures... you will still have to make sure all your nuts and bolts are tight... you don't really have to trail convert a RS just cut the hot start button and it changes to the trail timing... they are made to run 91 octane fuel.
not sure how alike the 600rs is to the 440 but on my 440 the timing curve just doesn't go with pump gas, it'll only rev about 7800 and eats plugs, if i disconnect it it revs 8500 all day and likes it...
depends on your source... doo rates the 800etec at 163 i think... mines 600 is 130 ish and same with the 600etec... the carbed 600rs motor is way more snappy but i think top end power is close to the same
@summit600kid drop your main jet size in steps... im around 1000-1500 feet... 300 is really fat... I road with 290's for bit but they were abit to rich... Mine runs pretty krisp now. Also think about dropin the needle. Mine was stupid rich on the bottom.
@coochiemama511 I couldnt tell you because Ive never ridden a sled with a sway bar. If your spending more time in the pow then ditch it... and if your spending more time on the trail keep it...
@MottoVideo First you need the right conditions. 2nd most inportant is the track, 1.75 paddle helps a ton. Then lower gearing helps abit. And last you have to pratice and learn to ballence it... it takes time and lots of belts but its fun
Yea, i've been riding it without cutting it and it seems to be doing fine, the only think im wondering about is that sometimes when i pinn it, it'll start to slightly cut out and loose a bit of power, almost like it kind of has a rev llimiter or something haha
@yamaharules163 maybe it could... swap the motor with a 600RS motor... and after swampin the motor swap the chassis with the 600rs chassis.... lol .... you just need a turbo
any tips for doin wheelies man? i got an 08 mx z adrenaline 600ho sdi shes stock and i cant seem to get it up high just get the skis like 5 cms off the ground
@bzhfbz ohh alright, well sick sled anyways lol looks fun tearing up the swamp, im from minnesota so thats pretty much wat my day of riding consists of to.. deep snow flat land riding back on the ponds and swamps
@theallmightymozzphan The 500ss is a great motor. Good power and its going to last for ever. there were a few years to watch out for... i think they had leaner jets and they were melting pistions. Personaly I would not buy anything other then a skidoo. My family has them, I know how to work on them and they are awesome so there is no reason to change. Try to find a mxz TNT with the 500ss motor.... thats a wiked sled
Nice man. I really want to get a rev 600 but the last few years we haven't got much snow, and i don't wanna pay 2500-3500 for something i only get to ride a few times a year
@TBrown945 Its only going to rip if you can ride it. i unno... 440s are sluggish... but so is a 600rs some times... but 800s are lame... 600 is a good motor size
@bzhfbz oh ok..and no..sadly i havent ridden one..although that is what i plan on trading in my sled for..but maybe a newer one..maybe a 2010 model and my skis are still down on the trails but if i stand all the way back like you do in the vid i can lift that heavy bastard up for long periods lol
awesome video! perfect snow setup for that too, can't wait till we get some.
Nice walking bud... U have to do anything in the skid to get it to do that? My F7 just takes off like a rocket... Cant get it to standup like that.
True, the 800 (e-tec) is around 160hp (correct me if wrong) and 600rs around 140 compared to 600 e-tec which is around 120?
definitely one of the longest on here! you make it look so easy
@Millin4500 thanks... you have to make the rear arm spring stiffer.... your sled cant sack out when you take off... you won't get a F7 to stand up like that... youll have to get a 600RS if you want to... sorry man.
nice ass wheelies, not hating ,just never drove a snowmobile before, how hard is it compared to a dirtbike? and falling must be nice, into snow!
@bzhfbz I meant that u have the longest catwalk I've seen! Keep up those top notch vids
got the same sled, do you have the hot start unplugged? just wondering cause on dootalk they say not to hold the throttle open for too long so i was just wondering if you have it done or not and have had any issues?
thanks
@TBrown945 I find the standing position to be about the same for jumping. I really like how the XP jumps. Its really twitchy but you can adjust the sled how ever you want.
@summit600kid the needle has to be lower to be lean... so you have to move the clip closer to the top of the needle... or away from the point...
@MoortenJ It all depends on what "freeriding" is to you. What do you mean freeriding? Mine goes 163km on the speedo.
@TheBAredneck I like the stock pipes and cans... either stock or mod twins.
Sick sled dude. looks mint. me and my friendd are gonna try and get film stuff like this this year. keep it up. your videos are great
@summit600kid yeah hot start is cut. I'm not shy holding mine wide open. 280 mains are pretty conservative. I droped my needle aswell. I think its in the leanest position. Even tho the needle has nothing to do with WFO. I'm just running 91. mixxing my oil 47:1 ... 3000 miles... no issues. :)

@anonymzs yeah the sway bar is the first thing to go when the racers get there sleds.... mine didnt have it on when i got it... i have the sway bar tho... but i dont have any plans to put it on
@bzhfbz clutched as is helix, weights, springs, or is it stock??
man i lvoe the sound and the catwalk out of a pow turn is the best i like pow turn btw the catwalk is good to tho lol nice vid for sure man
@codyabbott608 There is really no need to "mod" it.... it comes stock with V-force reeds and a great pipe. I put a 7" fly riser and a fly flat bar. The stock 8" was to high and im 6'3".
It really depends what your going to do with it. They are about the same maintance as a trail sled.
@bzhfbz it's an older model zx chassi. Have way threw he did it a bit longer than you and was going like 30..
@bzhfbz thanks man ,, but what do u think this is a free auction not for a price man
How high does your EGTM get after you have done a wheelie like that? :)
Sorry for bad english..
the only thing that would be different is that the RS has power jets and does not need to be jetted for different temperatures... you will still have to make sure all your nuts and bolts are tight... you don't really have to trail convert a RS just cut the hot start button and it changes to the trail timing... they are made to run 91 octane fuel.
@Desjarlais07 loosenin the limiter strap doesnt help when the front of the track is not touching the ground
@Qwertey16 all you need is a new track and a change of gearing. There isnt that much of a difference between my sled and yours... thanks for watching.
@600etecXRS I don't think they had 135 in 08... I think they dynoed at 125 ish.
@bzhfbz why you still got a sick sled and can pull off some nasty walks. Just showing you got some competition.
wats the top speed and do u have to mix gas and would i be abl to wheelie it 5'1 110 pounds? cause i barely can wheelie my 440 unless i hit a drift
@TaskInHD umm good snow conditions and rider skill i guess... have to have a powerful sled too
not sure how alike the 600rs is to the 440 but on my 440 the timing curve just doesn't go with pump gas, it'll only rev about 7800 and eats plugs, if i disconnect it it revs 8500 all day and likes it...
Fuck that was a long wheelie. Nice sled, and must be nice to have snow!
it all depends on the track and gearing.. the snow conditions have to be right aswell
@TaskInHD also you can loosen your limiter belt
@rfofmiscellania I'm not sure... I bought it used and havent checked... it works awesome the way it is so i didnt think i needed to check
@Qwertey16 then all you need now is the proper snow conditions and the skills
depends on your source... doo rates the 800etec at 163 i think... mines 600 is 130 ish and same with the 600etec... the carbed 600rs motor is way more snappy but i think top end power is close to the same
top speed is anywhere from 75-100 MPH depending on setup and yes you have to mix gas
If your spending more time in the pow then ditch it... and if your spending more time on the trail keep it...
sweet what octane you running in your sled ?
@bzhfbz Oh thats quite a ways from me. I am also looking at a 06 mxzx 440 though. Do you know if those rip?
@MottoVideo First you need the right conditions. 2nd most inportant is the track, 1.75 paddle helps a ton. Then lower gearing helps abit. And last you have to pratice and learn to ballence it... it takes time and lots of belts but its fun

@hobbe94 I can go tighter... but its really hard and i can only do 1/2 a circle before i fall over or the front end comes down.
@sedz1 yeah pretty much all the snow is good for.... its been a shitty winter
@rfofmiscellania It has the stock gearing... and yes there are 2 clutches on all snowmobiles
thats bad ass... over a minute!
what shock do you have? you can get stiffer springs
sweet vid man
@yamaharules163 thanks man... she goes pretty good for sure
Not sure what you mean? How will I "blow my top end"?
@bzhfbz Also i bet with the snow packed down that much its harder to turn than normal. But that was sick!
@bzhfbz ohh alright, well sick sled anyways lol looks fun tearing up the swamp, im from minnesota so thats pretty much wat my day of riding consists of to.. deep snow flat land riding back on the ponds and swamps
badass
Is it geared down or clutched???
@bzhfbz ok im at second from top now so do i go up or down to lean it?
do you have problems with you snow flap falling off or breaking?
Is it a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke ?? But nice vid never seen a cat walk more long then that ! Awesome vid
@TBrown945 Your just to cought up in the differences... if you just ride it and not think about the differences they are very similar.
is the rev xp 600rs the race special? cause i may buy one..
Try to find a mxz TNT with the 500ss motor.... thats a wiked sled
no... what does "blowing your top end" mean?
so less then a mxzx 440 is this trail converted
@FrankMI1991 you mean theres longer on youtube? dang it!
@Qwertey16 I dont know what i could find. I have to buy it used so i dont have mush choice.
@TBrown945 I have had no problems. Mine is sorta for sale if your in my area.
nice catwalk man. best i ever seen
definatly the longest i've seen on youtube
@theallmightymozzphan You corrected me on my video? We arnt talking about my sled.
Im thinking about buying an 09 rs. Have you had any problems with you rs?
@theallmightymozzphan ahh thats no fun at all... just gotta stud the quad tires!
@bzhfbz i mean like...the front of the track not touching the ground...if by the front you mean before it angles up...then thats what im talkin about
@Qwertey16 it is stock... other then a 09 track... the 08 tracks fall apart
Yea, thats about right, its just a little bit under, seems to be fine
Nice man. I really want to get a rev 600 but the last few years we haven't got much snow, and i don't wanna pay 2500-3500 for something i only get to ride a few times a year
Probably would run crisper if i was to cut it though right?
@TBrown945 Its only going to rip if you can ride it. i unno... 440s are sluggish... but so is a 600rs some times... but 800s are lame... 600 is a good motor size
@codyabbott608 thanks man... i checked your vids... not too bad ... your sled sounds funny tho
@bzhfbz powerful and light..great vid man
what gram weights do you got that thing clutched at?
@DieMuhammed Are you 12? does catwalking honestly metter that much? yeah its stock.
How much does the XP weigh?? 190 kg?
did you take out your swaybar?
@diemuhammed i got a 500ss, and i want a 600rs now after riding my buddys but then trail ripping would suck
@bzhfbz as in arctic cat? as in the sled i dont have? hahah, man ive got a 600 x renegade.
nice man im thinkin of gettin a used rev 600 ho think ill b able to get it up like that ? haha ur awesome
@bzhfbz oh ok..and no..sadly i havent ridden one..although that is what i plan on trading in my sled for..but maybe a newer one..maybe a 2010 model and my skis are still down on the trails but if i stand all the way back like you do in the vid i can lift that heavy bastard up for long periods lol
are theese sleds alot of maintnaince
@bzhfbz yup, vforces, anything modded on your machine?
@Desjarlais07 im not sure what you mean when you say the track sit like that... my limiter strap is not overly loose
@theallmightymozzphan Maybe this summer if i end up keeping it.
