@summit600kid yeah hot start is cut. I'm not shy holding mine wide open. 280 mains are pretty conservative. I droped my needle aswell. I think its in the leanest position. Even tho the needle has nothing to do with WFO. I'm just running 91. mixxing my oil 47:1 ... 3000 miles... no issues. :)

@codyabbott608 There is really no need to "mod" it.... it comes stock with V-force reeds and a great pipe. I put a 7" fly riser and a fly flat bar. The stock 8" was to high and im 6'3".
@Desjarlais07 Ok ok my limiter strap is not stupidly tight.. If you have ridden a 08 600RS which i assume you have cuz every one on youtube has, you would know that it has very stiff steering... a little tighter center shock and alittle loose limiter strap helps things out abit... its not soo loose you cant ride the sled any more... my skis are still planted on the trail...
@Millin4500 thanks... you have to make the rear arm spring stiffer.... your sled cant sack out when you take off... you won't get a F7 to stand up like that... youll have to get a 600RS if you want to... sorry man.
@anonymzs yeah the sway bar is the first thing to go when the racers get there sleds.... mine didnt have it on when i got it... i have the sway bar tho... but i dont have any plans to put it on
@TBrown945 I find the standing position to be about the same for jumping. I really like how the XP jumps. Its really twitchy but you can adjust the sled how ever you want.
@theallmightymozzphan I'm not sure what the total snow fall was. For a while it was to much for my short tracker. it rained all today tho so no more powpow.
the only thing that would be different is that the RS has power jets and does not need to be jetted for different temperatures... you will still have to make sure all your nuts and bolts are tight... you don't really have to trail convert a RS just cut the hot start button and it changes to the trail timing... they are made to run 91 octane fuel.
Yea, i've been riding it without cutting it and it seems to be doing fine, the only think im wondering about is that sometimes when i pinn it, it'll start to slightly cut out and loose a bit of power, almost like it kind of has a rev llimiter or something haha
Nice man. I really want to get a rev 600 but the last few years we haven't got much snow, and i don't wanna pay 2500-3500 for something i only get to ride a few times a year
@MottoVideo First you need the right conditions. 2nd most inportant is the track, 1.75 paddle helps a ton. Then lower gearing helps abit. And last you have to pratice and learn to ballence it... it takes time and lots of belts but its fun
@coochiemama511 I couldnt tell you because Ive never ridden a sled with a sway bar. If your spending more time in the pow then ditch it... and if your spending more time on the trail keep it...
got the same sled, do you have the hot start unplugged? just wondering cause on dootalk they say not to hold the throttle open for too long so i was just wondering if you have it done or not and have had any issues? thanks
depends on your source... doo rates the 800etec at 163 i think... mines 600 is 130 ish and same with the 600etec... the carbed 600rs motor is way more snappy but i think top end power is close to the same

for the people wondering how to make a sled do this is buy a race sled! a stock ski-doo 600 rs will do this all day long no problem hahaha even a stock iqr 600 will do this all day long or even a stock snopro 600 sx will do this too not even touching one thing on it. even a trail converted race sled will do this no problem lol
not sure how alike the 600rs is to the 440 but on my 440 the timing curve just doesn't go with pump gas, it'll only rev about 7800 and eats plugs, if i disconnect it it revs 8500 all day and likes it...

that i probably the longest catwalk i have seen on youtube at least in powder snow. I saw a guy with like maybe a summit or something ooked like it might have been and 06 or 07 on youtube to doing a big circle in like only a couple inches of snow.
@summit600kid drop your main jet size in steps... im around 1000-1500 feet... 300 is really fat... I road with 290's for bit but they were abit to rich... Mine runs pretty krisp now. Also think about dropin the needle. Mine was stupid rich on the bottom.

@600etecXRS Every one dynoed at exactly 134.5? I cant see 2 motors being exactly the same. also it changes depending on what dyno it was on.... you believe everythign you read on the internet?
@yamaharules163 maybe it could... swap the motor with a 600RS motor... and after swampin the motor swap the chassis with the 600rs chassis.... lol .... you just need a turbo

top speed is anywhere from 75-100 MPH depending on setup and yes you have to mix gas

It really depends what your going to do with it. They are about the same maintance as a trail sled.

True, the 800 (e-tec) is around 160hp (correct me if wrong) and 600rs around 140 compared to 600 e-tec which is around 120?
@TBrown945 Your just to cought up in the differences... if you just ride it and not think about the differences they are very similar.

It's all about the snow conditions. My Polaris edge 600 did this on the perfect night with perfect snow.
