Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley, best known for their roles as the Salvatore brothers on “Vampire Diaries,” shared a fun story about their experience on the hit show to Mario Lopez on their latest appearance on Access Daily. According to the TV bros, they had both wanted to die at the end of the series, but ultimately the honor could only go to one character which ended up being Paul. Paul Wesley said, “We both wanted to die at the end of the show. We wanted the brothers to go out with a bang together and we were fighting over who would die and I ended up getting it.” Paul then turned to his former co-star and joked, “You were a little jealous. You have to admit, you were a little jealous.” The two now are business partners who create their own brand of bourbon on sale now.

i finished watching the vampires diaries show last week on Netflix, it is cool to see that Paul and Ian are friends some co stars can't stand each other, i can picture Ian or Paul in a crime show like NCIS or LAW AND ORDER playing detectives or something along those lines, to be fair i think Stefen had a happy ending because at least in death he was with Lexie his true love.
I am going through now! Season 6!! When I work I think about finishing the show.

I don't know whether you know this or not, but they were both in Law and Order: SVU. I believe they were in different episodes. I grew up with Law and Order: SVU and I have seen every episode a million times, but it's difficult to remember every detail! I think Paul was in 2-3 episodes, but Ian only had 1.

i just finished watching the entire vampire diaries show last week on Netflix , it is cool that Ian and Paul are buddies most co stars can't stand each other, i can picture Paul and Ian playing detectives on a show like Law and Order or NCIS or other type of crime show, i am always on the lookout for any former vampire diaries cast member on any other show or any movie in the future.

Glad you liked TVD, imo season 6 is where it peaked. The final 2 seasons were okay, but I had to finish it because I started watching it since season 1. Paul and Nina are best friends now, they’ve both said that they see each other the most out of all of the cast members. Stelena is still real lmao. Anyways hopefully one day Ian, Paul, and Nina have a show together. Maybe a Sitcom or another vampire show 😏

That was a very rushed and edited down to the shortest possible time 'interview'. Mario didn't even use Port for the cocktail - think he was making up his own :) Love these guys! They don't age and their bromance just seems to continue to grow and flourish :) Paul is sooo funny :) although he didn't really get much of a chance to make us laugh in this short interview. I'd love to see Paul and Ian in another show together. They have great chemistry! And they could make any show a success :) Something like Supernatural (two brothers fighting against evil etc) :)

Wow so they both wanted to die on TVD. That would’ve been a better ending to be completely honest with you. Just my opinion it should’ve ended with Stefan and Elena, it started with them should’ve ended with them. Anyways Nina and Paul are practically best friends now.

Delena shippers love Stefan too, they wanted him to be happy, just without Elena, because Elena left him for Damon, so delena were better together, practically after that Stelena was not possible until Damon dies. Majority finds Stelena super boring and fairytale of a 5 year old type of story, Delena was super fun, thrilling and sexy of course. Stelena shippers keep complaining on every tvd video to spoil the mood, just accept what actually happened in the show and move on, please.

Everyone knows Paul Wesley died in Vampire Diaries first when Katherine wanted to explode mystic falls when the episode was coming to an end then like a couple mins or the last second I kinda forget if it showed ian killing himself but they said he did suicide to with Elena. Damon took off his ring and killed him self. But we all know Paul Wesley did first and it was very sad.
Elena and Damon r Alive and married and have a daughter named Stephanie 😂 he was made human in the show. The new show legacies Caroline and Alaric’s daughter Josie is currently living with them

And Alaric's daughters were not Caroline's, they were Jo's but then she died and Stefan's ex girlfriend Valerie put them in Caroline so they wouldn't die and could live. why are you bringing up legacies? You need to re watch the series.
@@livvielocke9137 I already know that they are married and name their daughter after Stefan but added Stefanie but Damon killed himself to be with Elena in the overworld I guess you could call it where Elena reunited with her parents and then Damon and Elena got married and had a daughter but obviously didn't show it in vampire diaries.
