We have almost the exact same story. I also reached out to the church and talked to a pastor. I told the pastor my ex was passing the mistress off as the wife and coming to church as I was thinking we were happily married . The pastor said “What do you want me to do not be his friend”? He said he needs me more now. I looked in amazement and said ok. Later I saw a picture of this same pastor marrying and blessing the union of my ex husband and the mistress marriage. Praising the union. So crazy! I was married for 30 years 3 children.
I agree with you Lori Ann. I would never be able to give my children over to some stranger. My children were basically grown when we divorced.

I went to a Lutheran church for over 10 years, and my children went through the church school. I left in 2018 because I couldn't reconcile what I saw on social media with Jesus' teaching. It wasn't the minister, but so many members that I worshipped and served with. I have not joined another church since.
