I think they added a few effects to F&F😂
I felt that F&F Supercharged had so much potential. I honestly felt it should have been a launch indoor coaster, like The Mummy or Rockin' Roller Coaster, that follows the story of a getaway or something. The first 5 movies were all about cars & speed, and I felt having a party bus and projectors was just the wrong call. If anything, they should have kept disaster cause that was always a good time.
Exactly why we give it so much flack. We thought it would be better and totally different.. but we got... party buses.
Fast & Furious ride is too cartoonish too
The mummy ride was actually meant to be Stephen King ride based on his movies was gonna have stuff like the bloody elevator but they scrapped concept at last minute due to there being no way to drain out the blood from the ride
I wish they would build a revamped ride in Epic Universe and fix it

I'm totally with you on Minion Mayhem. I really liked when it was 3D, though I don't typically love 3D stuff. But without it, its not immersive at all. I think they need to dim the lighting in the theater more, so the edges of the screen aren't as visible. Or give it a dome screen like Simpsons has.
Also, about Fallon, it's not only the puking problem that bumps up the wait when you're about to ride. When we rode for the first time, it took over 5 minutes for the ride to start after we got seated in the theater. Apparently the seatbelts are really hard to secure for some people. And at least when the ride was operating its first couple of years, they required every single person riding to give a thumbs up to indicate that they were buckled--even kids and those who don't understand English well.
We agree with Minions, it just isn’t the same anymore! The seatbelts are difficult in Fallon’s too. Now they shine flashlights and check them all to make sure you’ve got them secured!

They could've made F&F a test track type ride , but they decided to be lazy once again and make people awkwardly stare at screens, again. Kind of a shame really.

Yes exactly! I feel like F&F is just a lazy and pathetic version of Kong. Like at least with Kong the seating makes sense and I think it's pretty enjoyable

I completely understand your reasoning for Minions now that it's 2D. But as an adoptive mom, that attraction has my heart. We visited Universal for the first time to celebrate our then 9 year old's gotcha day. At the end of this ride, he was wiping away tears because he was so happy to see a gotcha day celebration represented.

We felt the same way when we rode it. Both of our sons are adopted, and the story was so touching (for us) that we stayed in the gift shop for 30 minutes trying to wipe our faces (burning tears mixed with sunscreen and sweat). Sad to hear that changes have downgraded it.
I love love love the jimmy Falon ride. It’s just entertaining and almost relaxing. The entire experience is just satisfying to me. It might be in my top 5 favs

So I attend the meetup last week. Before that, my one and only trip to Universal was in 2017. I remember loving that Minion ride so much. But when we rode it at the meetup, I couldn't quite figure out why I didn't like it so much. Thank you for explaining what they did to the ride. Makes sense to me now.

(You could also do the same thing with an unsuspecting member of the public where they're the only one not in on the prank.)

I'm back. And Tyler, I'm glad you found your "loose screws"! LOL In my opinion, your picks are so spot-on. However, we also really like Jimmy Fallon's RTNY, but reserve it for hot or rainy days. The lobby of 30 Rock is spot-on, and we like the AC while we peruse the tribute windows. You can ask a docent for a tour of the control room (just like the tours of Twister) for free. I've missed you guys, and I'm glad I can (again) enjoy the parks through your experienced eyes.
We need to ask for that tour! We always feel like a burden doing that so we rarely do! We love the Fallon’s queue, too. It’s so cold and you actually get to sit! And we’re glad to see you back in our comments, hope all is well!
I went to Universal studios last week and we did not have to do a virtual line for Jimmy Fallon. We just walked in ( the queue was only 5 min). The Simpson ride was not 3d this time and I was very disappointed because I thought when we went last time ( 8 years ago) it was 3D. Thank you 🙏 for the tip in the Fast and the Furious! The wait time was 70 min and the rest of my group wanted to wait. I told them what you said and we rode other rides until evening when the queue was only 15 min. Afterwards my friends agreed thatIt if they would have waited 70 min we would have been mad!
Lol we’re glad we could save you some heartbreak! We learned after this video that we’ve apparently been living in a different matrix and Fallon’s hasn’t been virtual only in a good while. Who knew?? Lol. Glad you had a great time on your trip!

My wife and I went for our first time (well, my first time in 30 years; her first time ever) a few weeks back. We did pretty much everything. Minion Mayhem was easily my least favorite ride; I hated that you could see the other cars so prominently. It robs you of any immersion. Also wasn't a fan of Fallon; the ride itself is fine, but I really just dislike Jimmy Fallon and was annoyed every time he popped up.
As for Fast and Furious, we considered skipping it because I'd heard all the criticisms. But we had Express Passes and it was a walk-on, so we did it. The ride itself ain't great; I particularly like the moment where Vin Diesel is as big as a helicopter. But what made it worth it were the actors in the queue. They play up the corniness of it and have a lot of fun. It made it worth it. And as someone who's seen every F&F in theaters, I have to say that while I wish the ride were "fast" and/or "furious," making it big, dumb and corny is definitely on brand.
Lol we get that about minions! The googles helped with that when it still had 3D. That’s exactly the problem we have with f&f too, it just doesn’t live up to what it should be! Neither of us are big fans though and haven’t seen many of the movies, so maybe we’re missing the point! Lol

Man, I remember going on the Simpsons Ride way back when I was thirteen! I thought, it would be okay. Oh boy was I wrong. The world wouldn’t stop spinning for half an hour after I left, I could barely eat lunch, and I was just too motion sick to ride anything else for the rest of my day at the park!
That’s so terrible! Motion sickness is one of the worst feelings, especially when you’re trying to enjoy a fun day! Simpson’s is terrible about that!
So surprised that F&F was the worst! Kidding, it’s terrible! They even made fun of it in the Horror Makeup Show 🤣

Just got back. You two made the trip so much better! Thank you for your advice! I thought Men in Black should go in the Jimmy spot. Half of the aliens where broken. I enjoyed the que more than the ride. My 9 year old doesn't know what the Late Show is but thought the race through New York was "epic". I too want a Ghostbusters (and Back to The Future) ride to return though! Yes, F&F was as bad as the films. Wish I could un-experience it.
Lol we feel that about F&F! Men in black definitely needs some TLC, but we just love the competitive nature of it personally. JF is fun, too! Other than f&f, all the rides are worth experiencing for sure!
I highly agree with you on the minions. The first time I went to universal studios was this year and the first thing we rode was that and we waited 2 and ½ hours for a all around boring ride

Hi guys, I am home now and settled back into the normalcy of home life. I thought I'd share a quick synopsis of my one day at Universal. We rope dropped Hagrids, and so glad we did. I finally got to experience skull Island, I really liked it. Over all we had a really good day, finally able to dive into the world of Harry Potter and ride almost all the rides, missed escape. A big take away, I don't walk nearly enough on a daily basis... 🙃😂 thanks to you guys for tips and tricks, as we accomplished so much more than we may have been able to otherwise. Thanks for all you do.

I gotta give the Nuthouse Coaster some props. That was the gateway to my wife and I getting over our fear of roller coasters. We've ridden that thing so many times. We've graduated/moved up to Hagrid's (amazing!!), but we still jump onto Woody's for a good laugh :) It's short for sure, but perfect for what it is.

Kang and Kodos is a fun little kids ride something fun and barf proof. Especially when you have rides everything else. Best bet do it first when exceptions are not high. Or a good winding the day down before you leave the park. it is what is I always liked.

I guess technical the ride is called Kang & Kudos, Twirl 'n Hurl, but it is still barf proof in my opinion

We road the Simpsons ride about 5 times in 4 days and one time it got me. I was walking off that thing sideways and it took a few minutes to clear my head. But I do still love it. I think 8 glazed doughnuts should do the trick, lol.

Not the Twirl & Hurl! I actually love the snarkiness of the ride, starting with the signs while you're in line to the name of the cars to the comments when you manage to "hit" someone. It's a good ride to pick up some views of London and San Fran, as well as a nice breeze.
I'm with you on a Knight Bus ride -- I've been saying that myself for a while!
Twirl n hurl does have some great views! Just doesn’t quite live up to the rest of the attractions in the parks. F&f is definitely in last, though. Everyone can agree on that! 😂

Ohhhhh a Knight Bus attraction!!!! YESSSS! So we rode F&F the first time and found it hilarious (but in the "we are laughing at you, not with you" way) because it was just so ridiculous - CookiePuss...I mean who even says that! BUT we went back a second time on a different trip and oddly it wasn't funny anymore - it just seemed overplayed, confusing, and meh. Did anyone else have that experience?

We will definitely do IOA at some point! We get that reaction, too. A lot of people ride it the first time just because they’re so curious about the terrible reviews and then are in shock with what they actually experienced 🤣

Flight of the hippogrif is one year younger, not 11. It is a simple retheme of the previous Flying Unicorn that opened in 2000, whily Woody Woodpecker opened in 1999
We read something while doing research that made it sound like they redid the track when they rethemed it to Hippogriff. We get things wrong every once in a while! Lol
Ghostbusters was my favourite ride when I was 11 back in 1995! They need to give us a new version of it!

First, I’ve never ridden Fallon, or unfortunately been back in the park since Fallon was there, but I agree 1000000% with Resentception. Ghostbusters was easily one of the greatest there could possibly be, and while Twister scared the hell out of me as a child, I will say when I finally went on the transaction I enjoyed it (except feeling like the falling ceiling was going to hit me).
I’d also like to experience Simpsons at least once, but I harbor a grudge with them too because Back to the Future was my favorite attractions of all times and I’m sad that it went away. At least the BluRay collection gave me the video so I can relive it at home.
Haha we feel the same way!! We miss some of those older attractions! It’s always sad when a ride gets replaced and the new ride isn’t as good. So upsetting!

I personally love Race threw new york and minion mayhem as they are easiest ones for me to handle as someone who has sensory issues. I dont know anything about Jimmy Fallon but i love racing so it slides. I dont care for minions but its fun for someone who has hard time with rides, i think it would be funner if they made retheme that is more popular of a franchise thats not been overused.

I’m a local but how do i use the app to reserve a ride? If i do try Jimmy Fallon (i may not- i probably will only go 1-2 days so HP world is my focus but i wanna try other rides. Have y’all did a video on a guide to the app? If not that would be a great video and really helpful given most themepark apps are so confusing)

Since the early days of airplane simulators (1940s), motion sickness has haunted the designers and engineers. I once kidded around that they should measure the depth of vomit in Forbidden Journey (just kidding), and then adjust the ride where the vomit is deepest. The brain and vomit center just doesn't like signals coming into eyes that are not synchronized with body motion
Yeah it’s an issue and we wish they could fix it! Maybe one day they will figure it all out!

Haha we have done the donut challenge! You can go watch it if you want! 😂 Bourne is fun! It’s just a show, so it doesn’t stack up to some of the rides like gringotts, mummy or MIB, but it’s better than things like Jimmy Fallons or Minions for sure!
Preach!!! about Minions... I wasn't really the biggest fan of the ride before the 3D was removed, especially when you would factor in weight times vs. enjoyment factor, but then they took the 3D out and just made it way more plain and ordinary. I know people are sick of all the screen rides, but if they are going to be there anyway make them the best they can be.
We totally agree! We really hope they decide to bring back the 3D glasses! It would really help the attraction!
This is my first video I have seen from you two. You have a great screen presence and speak well. Motion Sickness go to your Dr and request the Trans Derm Scop Patch. The patch is Dramamine on steroids. It sticks behind your ear or ears. You put it on the night before so if it does make you drowsy so what. They can work up to 3 days. I have an ulcer and suffer from panic and anxiety, and it helps a lot. There is also pressure point wrist bands, some say they work.

I have a idea to replace fast and furious in the future instead of a party bus maybe make be like a dueling car ride where if your on express you got a Lambo while on the regular line you get a Ferrari maybe have a big screen on like a wall where the rock or Vin diesel is talking to you and then you drive at a launch of 30 miles in hour indoors on a warehouse then it stops in where Vin diesel says there is something wrong follow me and push on the gas then you take off at like 60 or 50 mph with twists and turns over or under obstacles for like a minute then back to a place were they praise you for completing and surviving the mission also express always wins by like a second lol then back to the station the guests would love that so much more!

This ride was just studios so we didn’t include anything in Islands of Adventure! We did a separate video for that park, though! It was so nice to meet you, too! We hope you had a great time on your trip!!
Hi! Can someone tell me if you can ask to be in the front of Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure? I got lucky the last time I was there and I got the ride in the front but I am going with my dad this summer and I would love for him to be able to ride in the front
The last time we tried they said that wasn’t an option yet. We’re not sure it ever will be because of how the queue is laid out, but you can always ask!

Those are my top 3 dislikes and it was my first time visiting. They had so much opportunity with F&F and they chose party bus.

I went on Fast and Furious Supercharged for the first time a few months ago and I was shocked by how bad it was.
The queue I liked and the set-up was fine, but as you mentioned, when you get into the bus, it's a disaster! I will never ride it again and I feel sad about it because I love the Fast and Furious franchise and that franchise is ripe for a great attraction. Instead, we get a really terrible attraction!
Hahah it truly is shocking! There were so many directions they could have went with it and it just feels like they went with the absolute worst one!
@@ThePughTwo it was also really annoying to ride. I hated that water sprayed in your ears and there was too much happening to understand what was happening. Not to mention the ride isn't fast or furious. I went on normal car rides that were more Fast and Furious than this.
