Need to accept donations on WordPress? In this post, we'll show you how to create a stylish donation form like the one below using a free plugin called Give. No custom code required! You can keep it simple and ask donors to click the donate button and pay via PayPal. Or, for a more robust fundraising campaign, you can:

Accepting Donations on WordPress: Give In addition to the free core plugins, you can purchase various premium plugins that give you extra functionality. First, download, install and activate the plugin: After that, the process of creating your first donation form is simple:
Configure basic settings for core functionality Create and configure new forms Finally, we'll also show you some more advanced ways to use the donation form.
Step 1: Configure Basic Settings To access the plugin’s basic settings, go to Donate - Settings in your WordPress dashboard. This is where you configure most of the core functionality of the donation form. This area is divided into five different main tabs. Each main tab is further divided into tabs in different areas. Let's take a look at them. General Tab: This section sets the default page donors see when they donate on your website. #wordpress #tutorial #givewp
The plugin creates these by default, so unless you want to adjust these defaults, you don't necessarily need to do manual action: Currency Tab: Here you can select the currency and display options for the donation form. It is important to note that not all payment gateways support all currencies. Access Control Tab: Here you can control the user's access to donation history, session duration and captcha activation without logging in.

Hey Thanks for the tutorial!!! Did you know that if is possibly to split the donation into a percentage for the web creator and another percentage for the client? Thanks again!

@@visualmodo Well looking for a function than can split every new payment or donation into X% for the web developers (+ hosting, domain, etc) and another percentage for the final client or foundation. Did you know something like that?
@@visualmodo Like multiple vendors but with donations. Every new income will split into 2 or 3 different percentages and deposit into different paypal or bank accounts.
A quite complicated, I think is better if you contact the give plugin devs and ask if some of their addons have this amount of specifications you're in needs of. but in the free plugin, I see no option for it yet.

Yes, you have the donator info on your WordPress dashboard and can link this with a mailing service or setup an auto email using the plugin tools

It may have relation to your landing page or template loaded on your page.

You need to market you page, get the browser tab URL (link of the page) create some promotional image, some peace of text and start posting on your social profiles, send to your friends using smm or whatsapp and ask people to re-share it.
So this plug-in allows any website to serve multiple users/members to have their own user donation page in say their own profile? Its not just for the sole administrator of the website who has the Wordpress account, correct? In other words anywho who signs up in my fictious donation based website can have their own payment/donation profile or a page with a element/widget section to manage and configure their own payment/donation requirements?

What if I want to make a website for OTHERS to be able to have a Donation feature on their profile within a website that I created. Kind of Like a Patreon site or a GoFundMe. Is this possible?

I think a got, it, you want to make a site where users can raise funds, is possible but you'll need a marketplace plugin, for multi donors
