Why would a team build around guys they know couldn’t get past the 2nd round, let alone the first. Collin is my favorite player ever but he needs to go another team. The heat would’ve been perfect if they ain’t got terry rozier

Those two are the best shot they got right now to build something. Both need playoff experience to advance as players, which can help the jazz both short and long term. One extremely good rookie or allstar can help accelerate that to build something great in the future. I think they should at least get in first or have a good seed before thinking about getting past the 2nd round and then build towards that. I know a championship is the main goal, but right now, they need direction. Or both can get to the playoffs somewhere else.
