- ONGC has discovered oil and gas reserves in Mumbai offshore fields located in the Arabian Sea. Detailed assessment of the discoveries is in progress, the company said. ONGC's director of exploration Sushma Rawat said the exploration of oil reserves will help the country reduce its oil and gas imports.

Oil is also present in sir creeks division . But india foolishly signed agreement not to explore further as paxtan claimed territory as disputed .

@Pavan Shetty nope. Under current scenario , only one time cost will be beared. After that the extraction will be of good value. Especially when the reserves in andaman are surplus and never ending like saudi arabia ( according to reports )
