Correction Col John “Coke” Blocher got in contact with us to let us know that he was not the JTAC on the ground directing KC’s attack run on 7 April 2003. The confusion is because the actual JTAC was using the same call sign that Coke used the day before (“Advanced 33”) when he was directing the airstrikes for Donk Strasburger and Billy Bob Thornton on 6 April. Apologies to Col Blocher and thanks to David Bonner - Chief Historian at the Airforce University for getting in touch.
Could you make a vid about russian destroying some idk like the su34 destroying some ground targets (theres prob some stories you could find about that)
Well, the trench run was actually inspired by *The Dam Busters* and *The Bridges At Toko-Ri*… So I guess it’s all just coming round in a big circle. The fact is, these low-altitude, flak-heavy attacks are some of the most kinetically dangerous-but visually stunning, due to the presence of ground assets to give a sense of the speed involved that one just doesn’t feel, even if they’re doing Mach 2 at 25,000ft.
However, I’ve gotta say, they’re really leaning into this homage; I mean, seriously? “Negative, negative. It just impacted on the surface.“ that doesn’t even make sense here: the enemy is not underground.
I was at a Civil Air Patrol Encampment and actually was on a video call with Kim Campbell and was able to get the story from her perspective, it is amazing to now see this iconic story animated.
I wonder if they will do one on the two USAF A-10s who fired on and destroyed two Blues and Royals armored vehicles, killing one British soldier, and wounding five others. The USAF investigation found fault with both pilots' actions in the incident, including, "findings of cognitive and physical task overload, ineffective communication and failure to recognise identification panels by the two pilots." The investigation report recommended administrative or disciplinary action against both pilots. But of course, United States Department of Defense officials, however, cleared both pilots of any wrongdoing. ruclips.net/video/4I6-2NJhnf4/video.html
My only complaint about this channel is that I can’t get enough of your videos and wish you could upload more frequently. But I know how much work goes into to 3d modeling and animating alone so i appreciate the quality more than quantity. Keep up the great work
I remember hearing about a chick back in like 2014 who flew an A-10 on Manual Reversion back to the airbase and managed to land it, glad she's getting the credit she deserves, that shit had to be incredibly difficult to fly let alone land.
No heart can help but feel the pain for the mothers who have lost their children, or the children who grew up in the shadow of the sounds of explosions instead of the sounds of music, or the millions who have been forced to leave their homes and live in the diaspora. 😪🇮🇶
I really appreciate this attention to narrative that YarnHub ALWAYS infuse into their storytelling. I loved how they portrayed the young Iraqi soldier who is saved by the old soldier’s sacrifice in the other video. I saw so many comments saying that this moment would be the young soldier’s ‘villain origin story’ - and YarnHub is gracing us with that continued narrative (not that I consider the soldier a villain, but I think the narrative arc is good nonetheless).
As Long as the World🌍Turns🛞 there will 😮 ALWAYS BE Hypocrites.... Both Muslim and Christian!! .... And there will always be a need for the A-10; LONG LIVE THE WARTHOGS!!!
I thought the set of this video looked familiar. I was thinking about the other A-10 video this whole time. Turns out it wasn't a coincidence. I guess the Iraqis were just really determined to keep pressure on that bridge.
This was fantastic, aircraft videos are always my favorite from Yarnhub. The teamwork and sheer bravery was amazing here! Ty again guys for telling us this story

@ityaboidavid2.0 This was in Iraq fighting against a nation's military. Not terrorists. And we were only there because of lies about weapons of mass destruction. It was a massive mistake and waste of lives and resources doing the dirty work of Israel...
@kim-kc-campbell It the lady herself! Thank you for your service, ma'am. Your strength, both psychically and mentally, was amazing to see. Thank you again for you dedication to our nation 🫡
@SuperEpicCookiesthe iconic screech of the “American bald eagle” is not from an eagle at all I’m pretty sure that it’s a falcon or something similar but you can just google it
Unfortunately, it is a woefully outdated airframe that is more infamous for its many blue-on-blue incidents and requirement of absolute air superiority that other modern jet multi-role aircraft can get away without. It's slower than its predecessor, the P-47 Thunderbolt; a DSHK Technical can down a A-10 Thunderbolt II like the many M2HB-equipped US vehicles can A6M Zeroes and BF-109s.
Obviously doing war against a weak nation, A 10 gonna be those kind of heroe... But ear me out, doing war with a nation who has tons of anti air armored véhicules and all Warthog's pilots should be shoot down.... That a fact 💯💥
you guys are seriously showing off in this one... i am always shocked by the quality of these videos when they drop, nice work to everyone involved! :)
Man these videos make me very emotional at times. I suppose its the near death these soldiers experience and their eventual survival)..some of them at least.
6:55 would have been cool to hear the distinct squeaking and buzzing when switching on and preparing to fire the Strela-3, but that’s just me being greedy. Keep up the hard work and best of luck with your game! :)
It takes a very special kind of person to not only volunteer to fly into combat but to do so basically without an ejection seat. Badass to the core. These videos are awesome, keep em coming!!
I have never seen your channel before, but you did good work with the AI gives good context to what happened in real life, at least I am assuming this was a real life situation.

I can't watch this tonight typhoon will hit pray for me
@iampantherg hope you make it
@iampantherg dios este contigo
Hi, I love your videos about air combat and more. I'd like you to make a video about the battle between Peru and Ecuador in the Cenepa War.
Could you make a vid about russian destroying some idk like the su34 destroying some ground targets (theres prob some stories you could find about that)
Nice video. It definitely brings back a few memories from the day!
OMG your such a badass! I had my heart in my throat the whole time after you got hit. I'm going to show this to my niece when I see her at Easter.
@iancole941 me too and I know what happened!
Great work Colonel! Do you have any juicy details that aren't in the video?
Thank you for your service, excellent flying
Omg is really you!!!????
Total salute to you!!!
That's one of a kind title 😂
fr!
FR!
Fr
That’s if you didn’t make it 9 seconds into the video before racing to the comments.
It was her callsign.
There is a reason A-10 pilots don't pay at the bar.
You tell better stories in 15 minutes than some movies do in 2 hours. This channel is brilliant.
Thank you for making this. KC was one of the best commanders I ever had.
Double Star Wars reference, target noise and the "it didn't go in, just exploded on the surface"
Spotted that too.
@06:26
1:12. That’s not a hawk scream. It’s the call of magic eagle from Beastmaster.
As i hear this, and I thinking that I too much a SW nerd
They even said “negative” twice. RIP Porkins.
small detail at 3:30 , the gau-8 doesnt fire from the top barrel, but the leftmost barrel to keep the recoil inline with the plane’s center of mass
I love this kinda knowledge
Why has the female pilot, a male vois? Its a nice video, i love a10s
@BlackberryGHG clear female voice(?)
@freedomgundam95oh sry i only watch the translated Version im german i Forgot
Someone finally pointed it out lol. Love the Internet
April 7th 2003
Capt Kim "Killer Chick" Campbell
where are you from
🙃
It has to be her. Also she retired as a colonel.
@travisinthetrunk
Yup she did retire as a Colonel. She was a Capt when she engaged in this conflict
@ToniShorts4u
How does that matter?
@raajesha1573true
5:59 Parodying the Death Star Trenchrun, are we? 😂

“…. It just impacted on the surface. Campbell, you’re clear for your attack run…. *use the force Campbell*
She fly on manual reversion! Of course she use a lot of Force!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@TonyHaninyou need to watch, “a new hope.”
Another A10 video? Hell yes 🎉
And it's a sequel HELL YES!
I wonder if they will do one on the two USAF A-10s who fired on and destroyed two Blues and Royals armored vehicles, killing one British soldier, and wounding five others. @LanceChua9743 oh, I thought it was a reupload (I am 1 min in)
The scenario was so similar, I had to check it wasn't a re-upload.
@lucinae8512 pretty sure it was the same battle, just from a different pilot
She’s now Colonel Reed-Campbell
Cool, she got married.
@CHRF-55457I think she was already married in 2003 and her husband was also an A-10 pilot who was with her in the war but not in that mission
@darhammora7867wow really?? Both wife and husband are A10 pilots
@MR_stone69as I remember, but it could be wrong, that was 23 years ago
@MR_stone69id imagine as much training/work they put in there aren't many other places/times to meet people haha
My only complaint about this channel is that I can’t get enough of your videos and wish you could upload more frequently. But I know how much work goes into to 3d modeling and animating alone so i appreciate the quality more than quantity. Keep up the great work
My Dad flew with Cambell with the Bulldogs.
Sent the video, will update if it gets to her.
Got it!
Go Killer Chick! Fanboy in Australia.
I remember hearing about a chick back in like 2014 who flew an A-10 on Manual Reversion back to the airbase and managed to land it, glad she's getting the credit she deserves, that shit had to be incredibly difficult to fly let alone land.

@users-l1sdictators tend to do that type of stuff
@MrStinkeyWinkeyespecially ones that have been on the CIA payroll
Thats Killer Chick to you !
"Coke" Blocker aboslutely won the nickname/callsign contest.
I gotta say the camera angle sticking to the AIM-9 while it was falling was such a cool angle to see 🔥
Reminds me of the spaceships scene in halo reach
@Sam-mg1my OMG ITS EXACTLY THE SAME I knew that weird nostalgia hit wasnt random, thank you now I have to rewatch it 500 times 😂
Is this the Bog from COD4 MW ? 0:30
With the bridge it does remind me of Bog. All you need now is "War Pig" painted on the tank
Favorite. Shooter. Game. Ever
@Hazy429really wish you could still get it for PC. I can’t find it anywhere
@SeizetheMetalwhat? You can buy codes for steam everywhere. At least last I checked.
@LuLeBereally???
The quality of these videos is insane!
8:04 It's young Abdullah from the Donk's video! He was able to avenge the old soldier! Damn, the cycle of revenge will never end.
I really appreciate this attention to narrative that YarnHub ALWAYS infuse into their storytelling. I noticed that I've seen this man before
As Long as the World🌍Turns🛞 there will 😮 ALWAYS BE Hypocrites.... Both Muslim and Christian!! .... And there will always be a need for the A-10; LONG LIVE THE WARTHOGS!!!
13:35 insane that it was the just the day before
Yeah that’s crazy. Wonder if they were in the same squad or knew each other
I thought the set of this video looked familiar. I was thinking about the other A-10 video this whole time. Turns out it wasn't a coincidence. I guess the Iraqis were just really determined to keep pressure on that bridge.
@carsonm7292same here brother
@carsonm7292Same
had to check to see if it was a reupload of the other a10 video lmao
Is this a 2nd part of when a10s rained thunder over iraq?
Yea, the previous one happens a day before
@TemplarofValinorcoke can't catch a break
And then same Iraqi soldier is also here if I remember right
Yes this is the sequel lol
@TemplarofValinor I thought it was a remaster for a second
This was fantastic, aircraft videos are always my favorite from Yarnhub. The teamwork and sheer bravery was amazing here!
Ty again guys for telling us this story
I've seen Colonel Campbell interviewed. On the wall behind her is a piece of the rudder of the plane that brought her home.
No heart can help but feel the pain for the mothers who have lost their children, or the children who grew up in the shadow of the sounds of explosions instead of the sounds of music, or the millions who have been forced to leave their homes and live in the diaspora. 😪🇮🇶
@users-l1s Hope those sons were not terrorists.
@ityaboidavid2.0 This was in Iraq fighting against a nation's military. Not terrorists. And we were only there because of lies about weapons of mass destruction. It was a massive mistake and waste of lives and resources doing the dirty work of Israel...
I donated the tail flash to the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum and it should be on display in a new gallery later this year.
@kim-kc-campbell It the lady herself! Thank you for your service, ma'am. Your strength, both psychically and mentally, was amazing to see. Thank you again for you dedication to our nation 🫡
Killer chick is a badass call sign 🔥
One of most famous stories of A-10 emergency landing.
Ive watched her on a few different podcasts tell the full story and you did an awesome job covering the major and important detail.
1:10 That eagle sound is the most american thing ever hahahaha
That sound isn’t actually a bald eagle
Bewt part is it isnt actually an eagle
@SuperEpicCookiesthe iconic screech of the “American bald eagle” is not from an eagle at all I’m pretty sure that it’s a falcon or something similar but you can just google it
It’s a Red Tail Hawk, for the “Warhawks” 🫡
"She made it home!"
Best sentence uttered that day.
2:30 its the same guy from the previous A 10 video
Yeah
It's the next day after that video
More than that - it's the same 75th squadron
And this time? It’s personal.
I hope there will be more films about the A-10
I had just re-watched her some of her interviews before coming back to this video, absolutely amazing
That’s crazy title killer chick
9:54 that looks like it comes from a cinematic movie scene
Crazy thing is this store has actual onboard footage
"Eagle-1, comin in hot!"
Cup of liber-TEA
SHE IS EAGLE-1!
GUYS WE FOUND EAGLE-1!
Incredible graphics,looking forward to tonight.
@BrianThompson-q4m 🇮🇷
Great flying & a spectacular aircraft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your videos continue to be amazing and well done. Keep up the great work!
this is why the A-10 will be forever loved by everybody
Unfortunately, it is a woefully outdated airframe that is more infamous for its many blue-on-blue incidents and requirement of absolute air superiority that other modern jet multi-role aircraft can get away without.
It's slower than its predecessor, the P-47 Thunderbolt; a DSHK Technical can down a A-10 Thunderbolt II like the many M2HB-equipped US vehicles can A6M Zeroes and BF-109s.
Because they ran 6 attack runs and couldn't do the job? no shade on the pilots but this should have been a job for guideed munitions
@fem@femstoraI doubt the guided munitions of the time would have done much better
Obviously doing war against a weak nation, A 10 gonna be those kind of heroe... But ear me out, doing war with a nation who has tons of anti air armored véhicules and all Warthog's pilots should be shoot down.... That a fact 💯💥
Second pair of A-10's that were dispatched after Donk and Billy bob in the first video
you guys are seriously showing off in this one... i am always shocked by the quality of these videos when they drop, nice work to everyone involved! :)
Wow!Brilliant video
Incredible courage and skill and so cool that she watched and commented on your vudeo
One of my best Yarn Hub videos
you didnt make it
6:27 love the Star Wars reference lol, hopefully we get more in future r always fun to see
I double takes when I heard that 😭
gut gemacht tolles video bravo
Good work, so intensive!
Knew the story immediately from the title, and i never knew Campbell’s callsign was KC!
8:01 that smirk 😂
😂😂😂😂
Its got to be an insane feeling to defeat an American pilot as an infantryman. Especially one that is actively trying to kill you.
It was well-earned
It was the smile of Vengeance
I think you guys should consider making a movie........ you're very good
Nice to see it's still Coke calling the shots ❤ keep those warthog videos coming. Can't seem to get enough of them 😊
You tell more compelling stories in 15 minutes than some movies manage in two hours. This channel is truly outstanding.
I love the A-10 stories! You do a great job!
This was awesome! The A-10 was one of the planes i had dreamed of flying as a kid.
Your video quality is spectacular. Thanks.
It takes a very special kind of person to not only volunteer to fly into combat but to do so basically without an ejection seat. Badass to the core.
These videos are awesome, keep em coming!!
Killer aviation! Well done. What a story and just so impressed.
You can watch her video on this engagement and how she praises the A10
i remember watching ur videos when they looked like google slides, 3 years later and youve improved more than words can say, great job and keep it up
Wow, that's great story! And these scenes looks so good!
I grew up watching A10’s in the sky of the interior Alaska, boy do I miss them awesome sky tanks!
8:01 ابتسامة الجندي العراقي مليئه ب الفرح، انا عراقي😂❤
1:10 The Eagle scream was PERFECT!
Hawk*
@chicco224 haha I feel smart now for knowing
Sounds like FREEDOM 🦅
Freedom 🦅
making the video American 🇺🇲
Ghosts of highway of death will be always associated to A10 in Iraq in my mind.
The voice for Turner sounds so much like Captain Bartlett Heartbreak One from Ace Combat 5
Gracias por contar estas historia animadas.
Thank you for your service mam...
Kim Campbell > K.C. > Killer Chick. Alright, I admit, it's damn creative! I'm surprised there wasn't any homicidal duckling art on her A-10 XD
Epic movie😎 with my favorite flying tank😍
Another great yarnhub production!
Thank you team for making this!!
I remember her telling this story! I’m so glad you made the video!!!
1:10 I'm an Eagle 🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅
Incredible stick and rudder skills as well as bravery.
Thats reaaly nice 👏. We want to see more WW2 stories yarnhub !
The deliberate pause after she pulls the trigger on the gun...made this video.
Another great pilot great asset.
8:02 The iraqi guy was the same person who got saved by last a10 videos aaa gun leader at end.
Thank you Yarnhub for this awesome ( Killer Chick in an A-10 Warthog ) video..........
90 year old F-4 combat veteran pilot Shoe USA
You have my gratitude and my respect! Thank you for your service!
@JoelPhan-z8e Thank you Sir ! Old Shoe.
Only the F4 Phantom was more beautiful than the Thunderbolt. 😊
/My Best! ❤
She is one badass fighter pilot
Idk if I'd call A10's fighters, but yeah
@corydunawayi know A stands for attacker but "attacker pilot" dosent have that same ring you know?
I have never seen your channel before, but you did good work with the AI gives good context to what happened in real life, at least I am assuming this was a real life situation.
SOUNDS LIKE THE ATTACK ON THE DEATH STAR
JUST IMPACTED ON THE SURFACE
The progression in animation for this channel is AMAZING every video is better than the last which is crazy because every video is awesome!
6:20 no way u.s. troops are making Episode 4 references over comms.
That brought tears to my eyes!! Thank you so much for your service to such a talented brave warrior!!! You are a f. .king hero!!!
The day beofre same bridge I knew it looked familiar
Please make a video on the final tiger's stand in berlin
working on it
Thanks , wasnt expecting a reply from you @Yarnhub
A-10 todo el día, todos los días 😍
6:26 Love the Star Wars reference
There is always a Star Wars reference in like every video from them! Awesome!
Love the new editing style and format!
Where's Bagdad Bob?
8:42 so uh it’s bad probably lol
😂😂
"If we were stronger than them we would've won" well no shit, too bad you weren't though
@Novuzi-Extras must've been one of the surviving republican guards 😂😂😂
And you still lost.
"Heroes" who, based on a lie, invaded a country and killed hundrets of thousands...
Lieutenant "coke blocher" !!! Lol my ass. 🐔🚧'er !!
These videos keep getting better and better!
_How did a chicken get, into an A10?_
Women fly nearly every aircraft out there,from fighters,A-10s,the C-130 gunship.They are excellent pilots and a few highly awarded.
Wonder how hard was it to train a chicken?
@SandraLogue-x9r No, like "chick" as in the term for child chickens...
I mean if pigeons can steer missiles, im sure chickens can control an A-10. Chickens are clearly much smarter
F86
This is something the F35 can never do, that's why there needs to be a direct replacement for the A10
It'll end up being drones and the skyraider 2(air tractor), but i agree - a heavily armored CAS jet still has a place. Drones aren't there yet.
The thing is... it doesn't need to. You COULD just send artillery fires like you did in WW1, but, why do that when you can just send one smart cluster munition?
....at this point I would re activate the P-47''s
The thing is, the F35 is not designed to do the job thew A10 is so of course it cant do it or at least not as well
@CCPJerBear
Yeah, from the Ukraine war you can tell drones are incredible when you're not in direct contact with the enemy like the situation in this video, also one A10 Gun run can do the Job of dozens of drones for much cheaper, and let alone the need for an analogue aircraft that has modern technology but still can work when electronic fails
