    I remember this from when I was a little kid...(about 5). No idea why it stick in my mind considering how young I was.
    I remember the Falklands war vividly too and remember being terrified incase Argentina decided to bomb my childhood house here in Newcastle lol

      Cool. I remember it too. That fear probably came about from hearing that we had flown bombers from the UK all the way down to bomb Port Stanley (Vulcans) and perhaps you thought they were going to do the same to us or something.

    Three Marines go to a boozer and 2 of them leave their mate there, why did they not stick together? We always made sure we knew where our mates was in the army.

    I’m from New York,United States. There’s a program on the Internet called Adventures with Purpose. It’s about divers using advanced equipment to locate vehicles in rivers and lakes. A total of 26 bodies have been found so far. I believe that it will be wise to explore the Falkland Islands rivers and lakes. There’s a possibility that he was driving a vehicle the day he disappeared and plunged for some reason into the water. It might also be a good idea to explore the sea coast along the Falkland Islands. Thanks for your attention!

    So, the other two marines went back to the boat WITHOUT Alan, but no one checked to see if Alan was ON the boat before it left the next morning? Well, I call that odd.

    Have they never thought of a confidentiality box? Private box’s around the village so they killer can give up his location, surely the best chance of finding the poor lads body?

      The main suspects are all dead now, and people would know and watch the box. Sadly he will never be found

    Either foul-play & some1 has hidden the body, or (possibly more likely) he's gone off swimming on his own, been caught out by the water in some way/committed suicide, & been taken by the sea.

    • @johnpaddock7761
      @johnpaddock7761 6 лет назад

      kcirdrab wouldn't the water be freezing as it was winter? And I don't see a reason why he would commit suicide going of his letters and wanting to have a change of scene unless it was a last minute thought...guess we'll never know

    • @Horizon344
      @Horizon344 6 лет назад +1

      RM's are attracted to cold water like ducks, he may have gone for a swim as a personal challenge on the spur of the moment as young guys do, & got in over his head with no one around to help or sound the alarm. Problem with that theory is no gear was subsequently found on the shoreline where he went in, & I doubt he would have done that with his boots & kit on - presupposing it wasn't suicide.
