Question for you. I just installed my coolbot and I don’t quite understand the heater settings d0 to d9. Does d0 mean the heater wire never turns off, and d9 means it’s the longest defrost time? I’m very confused about that.
The heater setting is related to the defrost cycle time for the A/C. It should stay at the default "D1" as that works best for 95% of customers. If you're having icing up issues, please contact our team at 888-871-5723 or hello@storeitcold.com to troubleshoot and determine if it's the heater setting or something else.
My AC unit is a really old perfect aire. The temp sensor wire is all one metal piece, there’s no insulation on it at all. Do I need to cut it down? My coolbot can’t seem to get my room under 56 degrees and I have a hunch it’s because of the temp sensor wire. Any ideas here?
Perfect Aire is on our "Limited Experience" list of A/C brands. We don't have enough collective data to classify them as fully compatible. Please give our team a call at 888-871-5723 or email hello@storeitcold.com to talk through your set up.
The cooler walls are hard rail, foamed in place panels, 4" thick for a R value 28. Learn more on our website or contact our team at cooler@storeitcold.com. www.storeitcold.com/meat-hanging-rail-system/
