I started listening to this album as soon as it came out, and I gotta admit I wasn’t deep into it. A few days ago a song came on in shuffle and made me want to relisten. It’s so much better than my initial thought, the beats are more vibrant in later listens and her vocals have improved since Ctrl. There’s a few filler songs but even those aren’t bad compared to most artists.
I like the Beginning song and the ending song. Love language and snooze are what you play to set the mood ong. Blind sounds a whole eargasm. The song Used hook is 🔥, The song low is cool too.

What other themes would you have wanted her to address as well?
Agreed, but she album is called SOS. She broke up with her fiance. I kinda get it. I would be stuck in this sadness too if it happened to me. However, I hope future projects for her and Ari Lennox are much brighter and hopefully the theme is healthy love. Their voices belong on a wedding soundtrack
@@necinewton7672 I had no idea that she was engaged? That makes more sense. I agree, more brighter tones and themes and less toxicity is something I'd like to see more of on the next go round.
agreed
Low, Ghost and Good Days are the GOATs of this LP 🔥🔥
Love Language too
How you not fw gone girl that’s by far the hardest song
Nobody gets me is so good it’s reminds me sm of Taylor swift and it eats
Nobody gets me is so good it’s reminds me sm of Taylor swift and it eats
I started listening to this album as soon as it came out, and I gotta admit I wasn’t deep into it. A few days ago a song came on in shuffle and made me want to relisten. It’s so much better than my initial thought, the beats are more vibrant in later listens and her vocals have improved since Ctrl. There’s a few filler songs but even those aren’t bad compared to most artists.
Shawn’s album reactions always feel like when all the boys get together to watch the game
When Shawn Cee Uploads it's a Good day to see his funny ass reactions 😂
Imagine Brent faiyas and sza on a song sheeshhh
I love your honesty , like let’s not sugar coat
that physically hurt me when you didn’t like F2F. She was channeling her inner t swift and I LOVE IT
No it was trash
“I actually hate him, hate his guts. I don’t hate him!” HAHAHAHAHAH
shii finally 25 minute video from shawn thank you sza!
i still cant tell if 'Special' is continuation of 'Normal Girl' from CTRL or a contrast
Sza is soooooo original.
Album of the year (2022)
& finally someone said it about Travis
F2F is a fucking bop man, sucks to see all the hate it's getting
I fcked with it, reminded me of Avril Lervene ,so late 90s goth rock vibes
Bro what chair is that? you got an affiliate link or something i need a new chair
I wasn't that tired of waiting for another SZA album until 2020 hit. (Almost) Three years of CTRL was enough. Lol.
Didn’t finish the album yet but I know this one of the best r&b albums of the year
No it’s not…
Nobody gets me - Mazzy Star - Fade into you
Thats a classic 80s grunge rock song which shocked me she chose to use the beat and tone pretty good 👍
Nah ya F2F reaction BODIED ME
F2F is the best song on the album and i will not be accepting any debate on this unfortunately
I wish she would experiment more with her vocals like on Blind. also that travis flow sounds like Frank should've been on it
I like the Beginning song and the ending song. Love language and snooze are what you play to set the mood ong.
Blind sounds a whole eargasm. The song Used hook is 🔥, The song low is cool too.
Real fans have been waiting for 'used' for a while now ever since she dropped that snippet on her Instagram ages ago
My wife delivered again. I wouldn't say it's better than ctrl which is a classic imo but a really good album nonetheless. My top 3 tracks: Nobody gets me, blind, kill bill.
hey shawn idk if you been depressed, conflicted or just dont feel as inspired/motivated but whatever reason it is that you dont upload that much nowadays, i hope your doing alright and i think your a super cool person from what i can see and you make some really great content. id love to have a conversation with you.
hes just been streaming a lot recently so i think thats it, highly recommend checking out some clips its hilarious
Nah Travis did his thing & F2F is a good song
Always thought Sza beats would be great for someone to rap over and I’m glad she dipped in that bag a lil outside of features.
Side note:
Who keeps asking for Travis on Sza songs? Travis wasn’t even bad on Open Arms but why tf is he there out of all the artists that could’ve been there? Isaiah Rashad, Lance Skiiwalker, fuckin Thugga like literally ANYBODY other than Travis basura.
A SZA x FKA Twigs collab would be sweet!
I thought I was the only one who thought I heard irreplaceable in open arms💀
Love the reaction, this whole album HIT, especially after five years of waiting. Fave songs were Seek and Destroy, Gone Girl (hall and Oates hook there shout out Hall and Oates), low, conceited and blind.
I feel like the rock song would've been good to add on the deluxe
