There's a lot of stuff I miss about doing random buys but the back pain from HUNCHING OVER for hours on end is not one of them! Congratulations on the sweet pick up, looks like it was worth it.
Nice one Dual, and agree that the preface around the time is key. My god it’s been at least a year since I’ve done a random buy and filmed , edited, uploaded. Who knows maybe I’ll get back on the horse - need to find another one of these first 😅
My God you hit the motherload! Wow Ed congratulation! Thanks for sharkng this is so awesome! So happy for you! Cannot wait to see tje grade on that NM LED! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉incredible!
What a great find!! Love how you started the video off walking into the flea market talking quietly; kind of like you are going hunting. Next time I suggest using some labels 🏷️ n your well organized piles 🤣 “they are organized, but I forget how I did it” 🤣. Some sticky notes or write on some art cards or chaff
I really appreciate your sharing of this find... but also the explanation and rundown of the time it takes to actually sort through to make a profit. There's a big difference between paying $50 for a card that is worth $120 vs buying a lot of cards with $1500 of value for $100 but having to spend 10+ hours to get the returns. I do a fair # of collection purchases in Los Angeles... last one was a Mirage/Visions block buy for $200. Total value was $400... It had a mint phyrexian dreadnaught so I got 80% of the purchase back... but only if I trade at max value. The rest was a bunch of $0.50 - $4 cards. I'd consider this a bad buy on my side as it took 2-3 hours of convos and meet-up, 3 hours of sorting, then whatever it is going to take for selling the rest of the bulk. I share only to echo the point of your preface... it is a lot of work to find and then to extract the value from an old collection.
Bro, I appreciate all your work. I've done a lot of collection buys but I can imagine how much extra it is to shoot and edit video also. I guess I'm just lazy 😅 Great buy!
So cool. Your videos are a great way to learn about older cards. It would be interesting to see a video of you showing the process of actually buylisting this collection.
Said it was his for a long time. He had other items that indicated as much as well (he was selling comics and that seemed like his main thing) Told me he was “getting out”. Most of the sellers I encounter are Resellers. They buy storage units/estates/home clean outs.
Congrats on this find that’s an incredible score. I did guess correctly that it would be an LED before seeing it revealed. Wow.
Well this is gonna be EPIC! those who hunt for gold deserve to find gold! Cannot wait! Let's go Ed!🎉

Elves of Deep Shadow at the very beginning of your day 2 run $10-15 all day and they sell quickly because they are highly playable
Great find! I had exactly that Jordan Poster over my couch in my teens. Thanks for bringing back that memory :D
Wow you hit the motherlode. Crazy haul. Well done.

I have a buylist process video coming soon
I very much suggest not grading your LED. CK is paying retail on it right now, just sell it to them.
For day 2, the two elves of the deep shadow are great cards from the dark. Probably get $10 for each.
This is the Flea Market dream!
Amazing find, congratz!
Who would sell this collection this cheap after so many years of collecting?
Someone who didn't collect it.
That was an awesome collection for what you paid I never seen anything like it and you got the Lion's eye diamond with it 😮

Watched till the end bro, such nice hits! Congrats
Question, as you buylist these, how much work are you putting into card conditions? Are you just marking it all as Heavy Play and moving on?
