Take a 2 ft piece of para cord and tie it to the boat or oar clip, then make a loop on the other end and put a 2" aluminum camping carabiner clip on it. When you set your rod down, run that cord between the line and the rod in front of your reel and clip the cord in the carabiner. This works great on my float tube. Just a simple quick tether. Great day on the water. 5 more weeks, can't wait.

I always love to watch you gentlemen fish. Entertaining and at the same time gain so much insight to improve my own fly fishing techniques =) Thank you!
My main indicator rod has this setup, since I’ll fish it up to 20ft; exactly 18ft of 10-12lb fluorocarbon down to my swivel then another 3ft of 5-7lb Fluoro to my fly. I can then adjust my indicator to the correct depth based on these lengths.
It's great to see how much fun you guys have fishing together. Fantastic show! Thanks Guys!

Gotta get my boat project finished! Looks like I’ve ran out of time 😅
Is this lake still accessible? I’d love to fish it.
is the boat a 12' or a 14' marlon?
Think it was at least a 14’ Marlon
