Abysstrite, the Atlantean Spirit
2+ Level 7 WATER monsters
WATER monsters you control gain 300 ATK/DEF for each material attached to this card. You can only use each of the following effects of "Abysstrite, the Atlantean Spirit" once per turn. If this card is Xyz Summoned: You can target 1 Level 7 or lower Fish, Sea Serpent, or Aqua monster in your GY; Special Summon it. You can detach 1 material from this card; Set 1 "Abyss-" Trap from your Deck.
Poseidra, the Rumbling Atlantean
Your opponent's monsters cannot target this card for attacks while you control a monster other than "Poseidra, the Rumbling Atlantean". You can only each of the following effects of "Poseidra, the Rumbling Atlantean" once per turn. You can send 1 other WATER monster from your hand or face-up field to the GY; Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can send 1 "Atlantean" or "Mermail" monster from your Deck to the GY, then target 1 card your opponent controls; return it to the hand.
I've been playing Atlantean since realm of the sea emperor came out, and i can't be happier with this support.

And for those of you who still aren't running Ceolacanth....when they Droll and Lock bird you what's your out? I had one YT'ber say he just scooping. Running a build that you have to auto scoop to one hand trap is sub-optimal. He stated Ceolacanth is a brick but ran Barrier Statue. Sir the call is coming from inside the house. Because what is Statue?
Ceolacanth can be run under droll and lockbird. special summon it off abysshrine and do your fish summons to toad play from there.
Didn´t you misplay vs raizeol? instead of megalo you could have summoned the new poseidra from deck and kept going
You got ppl in the comments on other pages saying this new support is mid and it's not needed. They not running it in they deck. Umm....y'all are gonna get run over in the mirror match. When they imperm, veiler, or Dominus your starter what do y'all plan on doing?
I wish that Konami make more going second type of supports to every archetype
so when does the new set with the new water supports comes out ? not the rota one, but the new ones that got announced yesterday?
End of January. We get ROTA today if you're in Europe, tomorrow if you're in the US, SUDA January 23 in Europe, the 24th in the US. We can get the Serpent fall card on December 5th when Crossover Breakers releases.
But is it enough to be tier 1 or atleast consider the best tier 2 deck?
As someone who’s been playing with the ROTA support for a while, I can pretty safely say this still isn’t it. These new cards are nice and all, but at the end of the day they don’t fix the fundamental problems with this deck. The deck still struggles going second, and still loses to a good number of the best cards being run rn (mulcharmy, droll, shifter, etc). At least as it stands now, the deck can really only hope for tier 2. Maybe after the next banlist if we can get a clean slate it’ll be able to manage something, but that’s just wishful thinking atp.

@@overthrow3167 it helps but it’s still not enough. The removal is nice, but it’s still lackluster, you can stop the removal with an ash, making much worse than it could be. And the support still doesn’t doesnt help against the HTs that still basically kills the deck.

i have the feeling i will never use my abysslinde anymore haha, these water monster are insane.
Also poseidra artwork is kinda confusing, i would enjoy it be more clear.
I wanted the support to make abysslinde and abyss sphere playable again 😭 but I’m super super happy we got support and then a second wave which is insane

I hate these dev pro replays, jesus christ we just got the new support in card let us enjoy that for a moment? dont need to be first trying to show off what you dont actually own. thats all yugioh is to some people taking credit for crap that aint theirs or trying to be first with stuff that aint theirs ?
Dont get me wrong the new support is great im very happy about that but lets us enjoy it first and imo the hunt is more fun when the cards are actually released.
