So youre getting about 26mpg traveling at 130mph. Sort of makes driving obsolete. Getting places more than twice as fast with excellent fuel economy

16 ounces of oil consumption, is that normal, where is the oil being used.

There are even certified engines (Lycomming) that will simply blow oil out the breather tube if oil is filled to manufacturers "recommended" full level. Perhaps ask an A&P to explain why this happens.
