Thank you for the in depth review of these fantastic 1994 Marvel Masterpieces Inaugural Edition set. I used to have those in '94 and by far the best two for me personally were the all black Punisher with the white skull showing, Magneto and Cable power blast. I was 16 years old when i collected atleast several of them along with the X-Men, Marvel Masterpieces 1992-1994 especially the Marvel Masterpieces (Hilderbrandt), and the Marvel Universe series cards 1990-1993. Nothing but classic cards of the early to mid '90s. Just the best. And thank you also for the close ups of all of these wonderful cards, and congratulations on your Wolverine power blast #8 card really cool. Brings me back of lots of memories as a teen at the time appreciating the hobby in of itself with comicbooks and Marvel cards altogether and still do till this day. Great review.
Probably my favorite Chase card ever is the Phoenix power blast of this set. The art is just fantastic and cool looking. This break brings back good memories. But also bad cuz these packs were a pain to open. 😂
Be careful. The hobby isn’t what it was in the 1990s. A lot of these cards have become more than just trading cards that you swap back-and-forth with friends. The current configuration of some of these boxes, financial losses and stress. There are some cheaper products and boxes but most people don’t want to just collect those, it natural to want the expensive and rare stuff as well
Thank You for this Video!! This is probably one of my favorite sets from the 90's Marvel Cards 👍🏼 The card stock are nice, glossy and the artwork is really Fresh 🤘🏼 Nice Break
Wow you have the cards I need to complete my full set haha. I remember washing cars in my neighborhood to make money in order to buy these packs. Great cards and great memories. I bought them and straight into my folder they went and have stayed since then. 😀
Such a great set. I still have 40-50 sealed packs. I tried opening one recently and they were all bricked. Any tips on unbricking them without messing up gloss on the front of the cards?
@@SpideyHits I know I kept hearing the sound on your video and was like damn I CANT open anymore of mine lol. Someone told me put the pack in the freezer for a couple minutes
What do you think of the 1995 flair marvel annual set? I also like the 1994 marvel masterpieces, 1994-95 xmen fleer ultra, and the 1995 fleer marvel metal set.
Just pulled a beautiful looking spider man base card from a magneto pack... !!! How much would they good for rated 9/10 in my opinion looking to send it in for grading.
A psa 9 sold for $250 so I would think a psa 10 would sell for $600 to $800 but with the psa price currently, I would wait. It’s a minimum of $300 to grade a card
I also like the 1994 Flair Marvel Universe Cards! Justin do you sell your raw cards, or are you holding on to them for submission? I have procured over 125 raw cards since February 2021 I was buying Football, and Basketball RC Rookie cards, then I discovered Marvel :-) I submitted ten cards in April 2021 to PSA.
Hey Robert, I have 147 cards currently at PSA and something like 140 are Marvel Cards. The rest are my childhood Kobe Bryant Rookie cards. Depending on the grades I receive, I’m going to sell only a few of the cards initially and hold on to the rest for my personal collection. I really just want to sell enough to get my money back for grading cost and some of the boxes I’ve purchased. I’ve only sold a few raw cards and those were sketches which I would not recommend getting graded
Did you just use the microfiber cloth to clean the powerblasts? I see people online discuss using chemical solvents. I personally want to avoid that, and was hoping using a cloth could suffice. I tried using a microfiber cloth (brand new clean) on normal 94 flairs, and I couldnt get the waxy gloss residue off... Im scared to try it on my powerblasts/I dont want to do it unless I know it can work. Any tips?
Hope I'm not breaking any rules but I have a unopened box of Marvel Amazing Spider-Man from Fleer I'm looking to get rid of anybody point me in the right direction
Not breaking any rules but eBay continues to be the best place to learn prices and to sell. Auctions are fastest way to sell. There are also Marvel Card Facebook groups to join as well where you can post for sale
This was the set that really got me into comic cards. The art and quality of the cards blew me a way.
I love the artwork, man!!! I'm definitely going to buy a box.
Some of the best for sure
'94 Flair > 1990 Marvel Universe All Day 👊🏼

Oh yeah, i rememeber this set of marvel cards were the last year of me collecting them. They were so cool.

Those are some beautiful cards thank you for sharing! Amazing vid!
You’re most welcome and I’m glad you enjoyed

You’re welcome Ricky - I’m thrilled you enjoyed it
Love set and art work! Such a great throw back. This was one of the 1st sets I seriously started collecting in 5th grade!
I totally agree!

Such fun memories
The venom is one of my favorites all time
Classic
This and the masterpieces set still make me want to drop all my allowance on some packs
Amen to that!
Sweet-I have 4 of those Wolverine Power Blast cards...3 of the Spider Man and 3 of the Venom.
Have to love the 90s cards
Last pack, last card magic! Sheesh!
So happy lol
I recognized the Nightcrawler and Death of Ilyana art from Uncanny X-Men #300 and 301. Looks like they just computer “enhanced” most of the artwork.
Yes. Was a little ahead of its time
Best set as a whole in the entire industry.
Have the whole set including Power blast, and all 10 prints
That wolverine powerblaster is just awsome
I love that card - always been a favorite
Such a great set. I still have 40-50 sealed packs. I tried opening one recently and they were all bricked. Any tips on unbricking them without messing up gloss on the front of the cards?

Stryfe is not the brother of Cable, he is the clone of Cable.
So true … as a kid I thought he was his brother but it’s been hard to replace that core memory with the truth 😂
@@SpideyHits I’m like a walking encyclopedia with this useless information.
I’d be happy to take some of those duplicates off your hands 😊
This set is soo good. I still have a factory sealed box of this.
Thats awesome. Are you a sealed box collector?
@@SpideyHits well, I was an EVERYTHING collector. I amassed big marvel collection like right at the start of ebay.

@@SpideyHits it’s the 94 Flair Spider Man card #5 with the amazing Spider-Man number 1 comic on the back of the card.
