honestly, I agree. army, in general, provides well-balanced meals that is important for the soldiers to be in very good and stable physical condition. that means that this weight exactly is the normal and healthy Taemin's weight in this age. but I can understand why he feels obliged to loose weight - there are some stricted traditions and standards in the field he works. so I think he should do as he assumes right and comfortable for his self-awareness
