What a thrill to see Diane Bish play the organ of the Southern Baptist Convention’s flagship church, the Bellevue Baptist Church of Memphis, Tennessee pastored by the late great preacher Dr. Adrian Rogers.
That is SO SAD ! such a waist of money, that organ look like it cost over $ 1 MILLION dollars , just like my former church Pipe organ is no longer used because of Gospel music has taken over and the Hammond organ is more used
Yes that is sadly true. Bellevue has or had such a rich tradition of amazing music from the grand old hymns of the church glorious choral anthems. Through it all you could always count on the music being led by the masterful organ and the spectacular piano accompaniment of Margaret Lafferty. It’s so sad to see how Bellevue has abandoned that rich heritage for the musical theatre and rock garbage that has infected so many of our churches today.
Glory to Almighty God. From Manaus.Brazil
Very nice performance Diane and all the people that love you bless you

The best I heard of Ms. Diane Bish
And now I understand that this organ is rarely used anymore thanks to the rock-n-roll music taking over.

Nice video. It’s a shame they don’t use or value the organ anymore. It all praise band now. The choral tradition is also gone.
