As someone who competed against Morton's marching band for four years, I can say that they are good - because they are dedicated. If you get a group of musicians who are all dedicated to the group, the this is the result you end up with. Robert Hornsby was 'coached ' our drumline for few years when he was teaching at our school, so I know what kind of dedication they require from their members.

@heyheyhey91393 - I don't usually respond to comments posted on the videos I upload, but I felt I should this time. I'm proud of each and every group that I write for. They all work hard and do their best. You can't be "better than you really are". All you can do is work hard and give it your all. If an individual or group does that, in the end, you can be proud of your accomplishments regardless of a score or placement. No one is tries to be better than they really are!

they try to be better than they are? What does that even mean? They improve upon themselves and strive to have better performances. This is a great show.

@heyheyhey91393 ---I think somebody's jealous! Morton is very good. And the reason they stay good is because they always try to better than they are. That's called "dedication". It got them into Semifinals at BOA last year. Maybe you should look "dedication" up...it seems like an alien concept to you.

Could be worse. They could be doing billy joel covers.

Oh dear, someone trying to be better than the other bands, how scary.
Shouldn't all bands strive to be great? DCI is a fantastic example to go off of.
