I was incorrect about Dr John Campbell’s qualifications, apologies! He is a Nurse Educator with a PHD not a Dr. Here is a career summary quote;
“Campbell worked as a nursing educator at the University of Cumbria, and has experience as an emergency department nurse.[9] He has also tutored healthcare workers in Cambodia and India.[9] He is the author of the nursing-related bioscience textbooks Campbell's Physiology Notes and Campbell's Pathophysiology Notes. A review in Emergency Nurse magazine said that the latter textbook contained "excellent [and] inexpensive notes on the causes, pathophysiological changes, and clinical features seen in disease processes".[10] In 2008, he established a RUclips channel to provide educational lectures on topics in health science and nursing.[11]”

Thanks Shauna! This is a helpful summary. I couldn't find out when exactly he retired from nurse education - whether it was in 2008 when he started doing RUclips, or or later - but I suppose that detail isn't too important. Either way, I do wish he was clearer with his audience and potential viewers. Countless thumbnails have suggested to me that he is a medical doctor providing analysis regarding the impact of viruses & vaccines on the human body, rather than a retired nursing educator giving their best interpretations within the limitations of their training in nursing and educating nurses...which I now understand was decades ago in Dr. Campbell, PhD's case, and I can't find signs he has done any continuing education to keep up with the many advancements in medical sciences since then...hm. I do still appreciate your highlighting the fact that there are indeed many other alternative voices out there. 🙂
Im a clinical nurse, so wonderful to hear he is of the same care giving profession, and is a very committed published academic and very respected for his knowledge and expertise.
That is misleading that his RUclips channel says "Dr. John Campbell". He isn't a medical doctor. What kind of a doctor is he?
@@carndt2911 According to the same Wikipedia article that Shauna quoted, "He received the Ph.D. for his work on developing methods of teaching via digital media such as online videos." (He is a "doctor of philosophy".)
Unfortunately, I (with a PhD in biochemistry, several years' experience in toxicological and pharmaceutical research, and similar experience as a medical writer) have noted a number of occasions on which Dr Campbell has misinterpreted published data and drawn the wrong conclusions. I am not alone in this criticism, with several statisticians and other experts in data analysis also stating their unhappiness with Dr Campbell's reading of published information.

Which is my phone ever unfreezes I will find out. The microphone, bit I’ve seen elsewhere. (obviously since it’s all over RUclips and articles in trashy magazines 😂) but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t love to hear your take on it!
I also laughed when Megan tried to grasp the microphone I imagined the organisers behind the scenes saying " whatever you do, do not give Megan the mic" her audacity know no bounds.

I think Kevin and anyone else who is associated with the 'acting' profession have clearly witnessed the poor PR for a 'no talent actress with prince in tow, show' on that Charity stage. Yes, she is sooo professional that she couldn't even handle a simple presentation of little awards smoothly and gracefully! Awkwardly....definitely!!
Unfortunately thanks to an overbearing PR firm, WME/Ari, another Charity has become associated with Meghan, making any memories of their presentation of awards a laughing stock!
I don't think this Charity was known Nationally but now it is for All the wrong reasons and No one else to blame than WME/Ari + H&M!!
It would be lovely to have a free chat on a regular basis.

Dr John Campbell is very good... He has also chatted with RB! I discovered him half way through/tail end of the pandemic and it was really interesting and well balanced. Definitely a great watch.

Really enjoyed your gossipy chat. I have a lot of respect for Dr John Campbell and watch most of his videos. In terms of his career, he worked as a Nursing Educator at the University of Cumbria and also worked as an Emergency Department Nurse. He is a Dr due to his academic qualifications and gained a PhD at the university of Bolton. He recently interviewed Russell Brand.
Dr John Campbell is brilliant - such a gentleman in the truest sense of the word.

Dr john cambell is a fund of informed and researched information. He makes sense of all the technical jargon so that the ordinary man in the street can understand it and an informed decision can be made.

Yeah, Ms. Winfrey has also been hitting the Ozempic, IMHO. I've seen her fighting to be a slim woman at times over the years, a couple of times with great albeit short lived success, but she's never been this small before. Of course the DM had an article a couple of weeks ago where she emphatically denied it.🙄😉

I laughed when the woman at the Kevin Costerner event refused to give methane the microphone but nearly sorry to say this that I nearly wet my pants laughing when the chap offered the microphone to hazbeen he then indicated for him to give it to methane and he held it to his chest and laughed at hazbeen 😂😂😂😂

It’s quite understandable that your bookstore supervisor saw you as a friend because your personality is so warm and caring. But she was so completely absorbed in herself that she overstepped way too far and reacted in a very childish way when she lost control, blaming you instead of herself. I connected with that, remembering the discomfort of not wanting to hurt feelings, but knowing there was NO way I was going to be manipulated into becoming someone’s sounding board, a job for which I didn’t apply! When I saw her outfit I was amazed at how bad it looked. Severe long-term caloric restrictions causes dieters to get cold easily. When I saw Oprah in that heavy sweater I thought of Ozempic.

I have never liked Russell Brand. But in the Magna Carta the 39th clause of the charter is still part of British law today. It states that: 'No free man shall be seized or imprisoned, or stripped of his rights or possessions, or outlawed or exiled, or deprived of his standing in any other way, nor will we proceed with force against him, or send others to do so, except by the lawful judgment of his equals or by the law of the land.'
However, business often have moral clauses around conduct and behaviour. So can choose to employ, platform etc..but what I don't understand is still broadcasting and demonitising someone either they are outside of the agreement and should be removed or they have the right to the revenue they are generating.

Dr Campbell is a nurse, who then got a doctorate in nursing, which is the terminal degree for nurses who want to expand their current roles, move into management and leadership positions, conduct clinical research or pursue employment in higher education. A number of career possibilities exist for nurses with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).

I’m a great fan of Dr John Campbell but he is not a “real doctor”. Dr John Campbell is a nurse practitioner with a PHD in the teaching of nursing. He is a real medical expert but not a medical Dr.
His YT channel was started to teach nursing, for free, to the Third World. Prior to YT he used to record his lectures in nursing on DVDs, and prior to that VHS, and send them to clinics in the Third World. He sends the money his YT channel makes to a clinic in Uganda. He has written and digitally published two medical text books which are available to download for free.
His experience in teaching medicine is why he’s so good at explaining medical research papers to the public during and after the pandemic.
One of the things I most respect about him is that he always too the virus seriously, never got caught up in crazy conspiracy stuff but has been willing to change his opinion how it should be treated as and when new research on it has been published. I think he’s a very honest and thoughtful man.

As a divorced parent, I never explained "my side", it was whatever the kids needed. That's not an excuse. Diana brought Spencer family dysfunction into the Palace, she had a part time nursery position, ill equipped to be a working member of the Royal Family. She could have dug in and learned the ropes. She decided dysfunction suited her best. That's on Diana
Paul Burrell should be ignored he has made a fortune from Diana.
