oh this is perfect! my sons favourite spider man shirt was torn along the bottom today, so i will now turn it into a pillow for his bed!

I've done this with just plain fabric to make a blanket! Long strips are definitely a must.

That's a great idea! I have shirts that I love for different reasons, but dont wear them anymore. Just keeping them around..... I'll have to do this!😃
My husband overheard you say your shirt had a wiener on it and he gave me the weirdest look and when I showed him he started laughing lol. Cute craft btw I'll have to try it!!!
I've never made a tied pillow before, but I have done something similar to make a blanket for my dogs! (Who are conveniently also dachshunds 🙈)

I've made one before my friend gave me a kit in one and once I put the stuffing in the pillow started falling apart

This would make an awesome memory pillow. When my husbands father passed we kept a lot of his shirts this would be a great way to remember him by having his shirt as a pillow! And a great gift to his brothers and sister! Thanks for sharing ❤️

My dog does the same thing with all his beds and leaves stuffing all over the floors really frustrating but love the pillow idea super cute

I made the BBq cups but used turkey burger, they are good.
I made them too, and I tried it the same way she did it on the video with beef. Next time I want to try ground turkey though. They were so yummy and easy to make! I think I may I want to try this pillow idea some day, but I have to go through my shirts and see which one I would want to cut up.

I've made a blanket using this method, and yes, you are correct longer strips are easier to tie. However, I've not made a pillow. Thank you for the suggestion. Your pillow turned out super cute!

I usually make blankets like this with flannel but without the stuffing, makes for the best blankets! And great homemade gifts! Your wiener pillow looks great, I love it!

ive made blankets this way minus the stuffing but never go to a craft store for the supply its so expensive lol i go to the swap meet and find it there for way less. you can make a pooh and piglet one for you and adam
