Thanks Paul I enjoyed that especially your tips. A question ... I have a couple of nibble tip rods in the 2 to 4 kg range that I use for whiting fishing. I've always thought that they were a bit light in the tip for anything bigger/ stronger such as flathead. Could you comment please. Thank you.
Hey mate, nibble tips are fine for those smaller light weight style plastics, 1/16oz jig or even 1/8 with a 2" grub targeting smaller school size flatties. Unfortunately as soon as you nail something bigger you may not have the guts in the rod to sink the hook, fun on the light gear but could be too light on the bigger fish.
