Anyway, something need to clarify first: - For the center, I count the member in the middle + the member getting spotlight position as center (except at Seohyun's part at the first verse, she's running through during her part so it's hard to identify the "middle" one) - In the chorus ("I got a boy in my chin.."), there's some part the middle girl was turning around so I count the two in front line as "center". - Some of the girls don't have spotlight movement even though they're singing at that time (Taeyeon's "neo jallatta jeungmal", Yoon/Hyo's "jal dwel kkeonikka", etc.). So I don't count it as "spotlight" nor "center". - 2:04, except Tayeon, all the members standing in a line so all of them got the "edge position". Maybe that's all, if you guys find anything which is confusing, please tell me!!
This is the very first SNSD video I have seen in which a center and an edge distribution is both counted and it's simply amazing. Also, it amuses and saddens me at the same time at the fact that this is probably one of the hardest choreographies of SNSD (if not the hardest) and yet Hyoyeon as the main dancer was never technically in the center. I understand that she is rarely center in their previous songs mainly because she doesn't fit the theme but IGAB is basically made for her. She also has the most well-executed Cobra Dance using her hip and butt as the main source of her technique in doing the wave point of the choreo.
I think there’s only one (!!!) SNSD song (singles and B-sides) where Hyo gets the most center time, CMIYC. In fact, she’s usually in the bottom half for center time for most of their songs. This is why I couldn’t believe she re-signed with SM after ten years
Hyoyeon wasn’t really in center during IGAB but she is always at the font two beside center almost all the time in the song especially in chorus so she is still very visible.
