4^(x-2)=15 ; i,e 4^x/4^2=15 ; 4^x/16=15 ; i,e 4^x= 16×15 ; i,e x=log(16×15)/log4 ;i,e x= (4log2+log3+log5)/2log2

Take log on both side
(X-2) log 4 = log 15
Divide both sides with log 4
(X-2) = log 15 / log 4
Add 2 to both sides
X = log 15 / log 4 + 2
X≈3,953

4^(x - 2) = 15

4^x/4^2 = 15

4^x = 15·4^2

4^x = 240

4^x = 4^(log₄(240))

same base (= 4) =>

■ x = log₄(240)
