Sometimes I wonder if Nayun struggles with dance or health problems. She seemed really energetic in earlier eras and Finding Momoland but she seems more conservative with her energy now. Side note, I've never seen another Nayun bias lmao. I think she's criminally underrated, even to the point where she doesn't even get criticism.
She does have health issues. She has severe vertigo due to an infection in the ear that went undiagnosed for a while. I'm pretty sure also she fell and hurt her back. I am unsure if the injury is still there, but it could've been lasting damage.

I think the main reason is when Momoland were at their most popular in 2018, and went over to America to film with BuzzFeed and such, Nayun had to miss out because of her vertigo. So the millions who watched those videos couldn't connect with her. Which is sad because she deserves more recognition

I think Hyebin is the best, and the choreographers must agree because she is ALWAYS given the difficult parts and featured in them. The person doing these rankings is putting way more emphasis on facial expression and body language which has more to do with stage presence than dancing. Hyebin NAILS the routines while making them look effortless.
I think Hyebin is the most underrated member. Her moves are sharp and on point. When changing position, she knows where she is going not finding her way. Yes there are others that are more camera-aware and since you mentioned it, she does slouch at times. However, #1 dancer = Hyebin . . . IMHO

Especially love these beautiful Ladies for their sisterships, supporting one another, co-ordination abilities and desire to support and help others. Nayun, Taeha and Ahin volumise the group taking nothing away from it by being there. Mumma Hyebin needs them all to help keep her grounded, at the same time she energise’s them all. Jane and Yeonoo share their moments of brilliance, roping in those around them to make for a cohesive team. JoJo and Isy are both dynamic and central to the group. “ GRU “ is a beast. Having spent a lot of her early childhood and early teen years singing, dancing, acting and learning her craft. Joining Momoland has seen her shine and blossom as one of the more talented makanaes. All of this can be evidenced when they have new album or they make additions to existing songs. GRU’s work load, effort and pronouncement of hip moves shines in the early stages of the releases. Eventually toning down to the same level as the others. Evidenced in their latest single. JoJo worked hard with her also in this latest number. I hope my ramblings have made some sense. so true ive been saying studio choom could give jane justice. so frustrated to see the main dancer not giving any opportunities to showcase her talent (this why she had to upload her dance covers especially from bgs) also i think the ranking has some flaws like yeonwoo should not be any higher than jooe, nancy and hyebin. she's perfect at 6th and this would make jooe nancy and hyebin ranks high. and my poor nayun could easily pull an 8th if not for the vertigo

her back injury has recovered since 2018 and her fluidity is almost back to it's original state per-injury which is why she's ranked here. she's made farther improvements solo than with MOMOLAND, check her dance covers.

That’s why when yeonwoo does the choreo she looks like simply moving her arms but when Nancy does the choreo she makes it look like her whole body is moving together. I think it’s not related to her past injuries but dancing abilities.
@@music94206 she ruptured a plate in her spinal cord. injuries like that can take 4 years to entirely recover from so maybe instead of taking examples from 2 years ago, compare them today when Yeonwoo is almost fully recovered.
Injuries make it hard to rank Yeonwoo and Nayun (Nayun has vertigo which is why she underdances bc intense movements can cause it to flare up) because it's hard to tell their true abilities. Like, how would Yeonwoo and Nayun have danced in these times without their injuries? Makes it hard ):

Even if she isn't part of Momoland anymore, she still practicing and improving her dance. Now, she is definitely more fluid than Nancy, and in terms of technique, both have decent but underdeveloped techniques.
May i ask what the difference is between a overall dancer and a idol dancer? Is an idol dancer more focused on facial expressions and entertaining crowds or?
hiii! i just thought it might be helpful if u showed examples moments where the idols under or overdanced with a comparison to a better version of that part of the choreo being performed? for ones like nayun, an example wouldn't be as necessary as it's easy to notice that she underdances, but other ones i dont really notice over or underdancing from, so i thought maybe a small example would be helpful ^_^
Sadly Nayun has vertigo and can often suffer intensely, which is a reason why she probably got so few lines during Ready or Not era (and why she had to go on hiatus during Wrap me in plastic). However, she’s a criminally underrated vocal, her voice is so strong
In my opinion I think Ahin should have been put at least 3rd as although I her past years she hasn't had much of a dancing background I think that she has improved very much like you said and has a very good hip movement and fluidity in her dancing. I've been following cignature since their debut and I do kinda like their music! I was introduced to some of the members when Good Day was on MixNine. For me, I'm not the biggest fan of ranking rookie groups (although 5 out if the 7 members had already debuted in good day, I would like to see where Seline and Semi's dancing skills go from here). I will most likely do them, but most likely after they are out of their rookie phase 💙
Nayun is really good. But I think she needs more participation in the group. As a merry I think we should learn to hype her up and appreciate her. Even if she tries to improve we never appreciate that. We should give her a good attention too❤️
I'm Ahin biased and I'm surprised that she ranked higher here. Tbh she has very poor technique, but that's understandable since she's main vocal and trained vocally. Also Jane my girl needs to showcase her dancing more, her talent needs justice.
Ahin also didn't train for a long time. I think when she participated in Finding Momoland, she had only been a trainee for 1 month. So I think that would explain why her dancing technique is poor since she didn't really have much time to train before debuting.
Okay so you include yeonwoo issues regarding on her back and shoulder issue but nayun vertigo condition you didn't? her condition was the reason why she isn't on wrap me in plastic shoot because of that mf condition attacks her again and made her hospitalize for the 2nd time, the last time she was admit in hospital to take on break on her group activities and to focus on her treatment was in 2019 because of her worsening vertigo condition, even today nayun still suffers in that condition, her condition has no cure only a treatment... that's why we keep complementing her on her dances bcuz that's what she needed to gained her confidence on stage we notice also the girl are improving bcuz of that, she was happy too, to read positive comments on her dancing that's why she shows her best more

Injuries make it hard to rank Yeonwoo and Nayun (Nayun has vertigo which is why she underdances bc intense movements can cause it to flare up) because it's hard to tell their true abilities. Like, how would Yeonwoo and Nayun have danced in these times without their injuries? Makes it hard ):
@@music94206 I'm so hot was 2 years ago and Yeonwoo improved tremendously, don't check videos of 2018/2019, but her actual videos. Even if she isn't part of Momoland anymore, she still practicing and improving her dance. Now, she is definitely more fluid than Nancy, and in terms of technique, both have decent but underdeveloped techniques.

May i ask what the difference is between a overall dancer and a idol dancer? Is an idol dancer more focused on facial expressions and entertaining crowds or?
hiii! i just thought it might be helpful if u showed examples moments where the idols under or overdanced with a comparison to a better version of that part of the choreo being performed? for ones like nayun, an example wouldn't be as necessary as it's easy to notice that she underdances, but other ones i dont really notice over or underdancing from, so i thought maybe a small example would be helpful ^_^
Sadly Nayun has vertigo and can often suffer intensely, which is a reason why she probably got so few lines during Ready or Not era (and why she had to go on hiatus during Wrap me in plastic). However, she’s a criminally underrated vocal, her voice is so strong

In my opinion I think Ahin should have been put at least 3rd as although I her past years she hasn't had much of a dancing background I think that she has improved very much like you said and has a very good hip movement and fluidity in her dancing. I've been following cignature since their debut and I do kinda like their music! I was introduced to some of the members when Good Day was on MixNine. For me, I'm not the biggest fan of ranking rookie groups (although 5 out if the 7 members had already debuted in good day, I would like to see where Seline and Semi's dancing skills go from here). I will most likely do them, but most likely after they are out of their rookie phase 💙

I'm Ahin biased and I'm surprised that she ranked higher here. Tbh she has very poor technique, but that's understandable since she's main vocal and trained vocally. Also Jane my girl needs to showcase her dancing more, her talent needs justice.

Ahin also didn't train for a long time. I think when she participated in Finding Momoland, she had only been a trainee for 1 month. So I think that would explain why her dancing technique is poor since she didn't really have much time to train before debuting.

Okay so you include yeonwoo issues regarding on her back and shoulder issue but nayun vertigo condition you didn't? her condition was the reason why she isn't on wrap me in plastic shoot because of that mf condition attacks her again and made her hospitalize for the 2nd time, the last time she was admit in hospital to take on break on her group activities and to focus on her treatment was in 2019 because of her worsening vertigo condition, even today nayun still suffers in that condition, her condition has no cure only a treatment... that's why we keep complementing her on her dances bcuz that's what she needed to gained her confidence on stage we notice also the girl are improving bcuz of that, she was happy too, to read positive comments on her dancing that's why she shows her best more
