That is news to me. Didn’t know there was going to be a remake of it. We had Indy films of remakes like this one. There was also a kickstarter or Indigo section of it a couple of years ago.

This new remaster is definitely better than the old one. Daryl Hannah's Nancy Archer still remains as my #1 favorite giantess, and "Attack of the 50 Ft. Woman (1993 film)" still remains as my #1 favorite giantess movie.😍❤😍❤😍❤😍❤😍❤

i like Hannah's look in this but they get the motion and voice wrong, she should have heavy deep voice and body movements be much slower
Daryl Hannah at least lowered her voice to be deeper and more sexy after she grew, like the pool scene.
I dont care what people say, both 1958 and this version are still good to me, and sure i get why they dont like 1958 version but at least it showed a bit of rampaging of her going after her boyfriend/husband for cheating on her with another woman.
I hope Tim keep that story with a different type of ending, I want to see Nancy dealing her husband/bf and his goons/buddies/gangs etc for trying to kill her by poisoning or something, but then Nancy comes back to life due to whatever the aliens did on her, starts to become furious, and that's where "attack of the 50ft woman" comes in, rampaging through how many evil minions/gangs are there and finally manage to reach up her bf/husband and do something brutal.
And yes I do want her to go after and focus on the guilty than the innocent, and knowing Tim Burton I'm pretty sure he will make Nancy a giantess heroine. Anyways, after she did all that the military comes in and tranq Nancy and takes her to the facility to keep her safe and may use her backup to save humanity, and once end credit shown, I really hope we get a glimpse of either Monarch, Kong, or Godzilla and hear one of them roar, just like they did in Kong skull island. That would be incredible and amazing. 😊

0:57 can someone explain to me what happens in that shot of Nancy? I can never tell if she grows a bit, or if its just some sound effect
That's the Dolly Zoom technique, made by famous by the movie Jaws in 1975. No growth, just dramtic camera work.
I used to wonder if the sound effect was her stomache rumbling, or rather the chair rumbling and moving under her growth. The Dolly Zoom effect seems to want to suggest she was starting to grow with the perspective change, or give a sense of unease and unsettling impact to the scene. Nancy is never really shown to grow visably on camera in this scene. She just goes from slumped in the chair, head height with the chair back, then suddenly to head and shoulders much higher for the close at 1:00. The backdrop just stays the same. After she has popped open her blouse and goes to stand at 1:10, Daryl Hannah is in a much smaller chair prop to indicate even more size. Lovely growth scene, just wish it had lasted a bit longer. Daryl Hannah was great for that growth scene! 😁 Daryl Hannah should have got a gig as a Sears lingerie model after the film, she certainly flaunted the product enough with that bra strap snapping and shot from low down looking up at 1:21.

Which scene is that? When she gets angry and starts to grow out of her dress, to her embarrassment? She certainly seemed a bit scared as she saw her shoes splitting open, her belt snapping and her blouse buttons suddenly popping open! See how she is open mouthed with shock as she looks back up from her chest at 1:08! Nancy whimpers with fear at 1:14 seeing her sleeves ripping up, before the tight bra band snaps open. Bet that was a relief for poor Nancy, considering her exclamation afterwards 1:16, her bra must have been getting uncomfortable growing to those proportions...

Certainly seems like it at 1:05, when her breasts suddenly start inflating, surprising Nancy. Then to her shock at 1:08, nancy realises they are too big for her blouse, popping the buttons off and bursting it right open! Nancy probably didn't want to end up a Z cup, as at 1:14 she whimpers with dispair, knowing what will happen next, as she bursts her bra strap with a loud SNAP! To her embarassment, Nancy ends up flaunting her boobs infront of everyone, with that great shot at 1:21.
