Because of the trauma from Overhaul her mind sort of retreated to a child like state yet as things slowly go back to a sort of normal her older mind comes back even if she's still in her younger state and Izuku or maybe Shinso recognizes she's different than usual and recruited her because, who would be intimated by a little girl, but then they realize "Oh wow! The little girl is crazy and will kill me!"
