    Makes a dynafile look like a toy . Just awesome work y'all. Was machinist in lower 48. Your boys are learning so much such a legacy your producing

    What grade abrasive were you using there, is there no risk of reducing the axle size

      It was a 220 grit belt. The diameter does get reduced slightly, about .001 for what I did, surface quality is more important than size in this case. Many times I use the same polisher to remove small amounts for final sizing, we had belts down to 600 grit & also scotchbrite belts.
