    The cuts were made to fit the symphony into a 1 hour long broadcast.

    Seji Ozawa was awarded Koussevitzky memorial prize in 1960 in Tanglewood.
    This is the first time for me to hear Koussevizky's performance.

    "Edit by Koussevitzky" Wow, I'll say, the cuts are savage and audacious. I guess it was common practice in those days for conductors to feel free to cut this repertoire.
