- Getting Jeremiah's LT80 to race motorcross in the stock class at the county fair. We are doing some major engine and suspension mods over the winter. We are sending the engine to Jack Moore (Moore Racing), We are getting Elka Shocks and fabricating some better suspension parts.
Best thing for the clutch rollers are carbide dust or come kind of powder. No grease wont the the rollers roll grease sticks them makes them slide causing flat spots nice upgrafes tjough
Hey mate what reeds kit did you get with the jet?
Sure I have a lt80 as well and it runs the best
My son had an LT 80 new in 1988. Now, I bought a used 1987 LT 80for his daughter my granddaughter.
The gearing is 10/22, but all the sellers on eBay list the chain and sprocket kits as fitting 1989 through 2006. They don’t mention 1987 or 88 as one of the machines that the chain and sprockets fit. Does anybody know if this brackets fit all LT 80s or are the sprockets for the 86/87/88 different somehow
Good job. My son has one they they rip. I have the Midwest sprockets on as well but never changed out the chain. What chain are you running 428?
mcj john thanks, yes it’s a 428. Check out my other LT80 vids. We’ve made a bunch of improvements.
instablaster
Is that a normally open or normally closed tether system? Trying to set my daughters up with a tether
Don’t use that style. My son had it come slightly loose and caused his quad to stall in a race . It still looked like it was hooked on. I would recommend a Tusk one from Rocky Mountain ATV.
Hey I noticed you did the oil pump block off plate! Is that all it is just mounting the plate?
rydershawn22 I didn’t do that. A previous owner did. I don’t know much about it. Sorry!
I have one myself I'm watching this video to learn about it I'm eleven
Haven Joy I have a bunch more videos about LT80’s. We did a lot of work to my son’s.
Thank you for the info it's helped a lot
Nice end good! Frame. Way Not tray Change the Zylinder to more CC.
I ended up getting the engine built by Jack Moore (the #1 builder of these engines). I made a few videos of building this quad, check out the playlist: ruclips.net/p/PLFYf9cZlBVZAswmykq4oF_DMNoxUt0wIC

I'm currently trying to pep up my daughters 1990 lt80. What reed kit did you get that has the jet? Happen to have a part number for it?
Mitch No If you look on Midwest mini website you should be able to find it. I don’t remember the part number
Hey thank you so much great video helped a lot, I have a question does this gave the power to pull things and is it easy to work on, thanks
What manufacturer makes that kill switch tether?
Not a fan of that style of kill switch anymore. My boy had it come partially loose during a race and kill his quad. It took him awhile to figure it out, because it still was hooked in somewhat. I use Rocky Mountain ATV
Part# 1093920001 now.

@@Mudford thank you for this advise!
I enjoy your LT80 content. It's been very informative.
Man I’d buy every mod you installed here. Do you have any links to any of the mods?
I have a bunch of videos modifying this quad. Check them all out. I think there is a playlist. I wouldn’t recommend doing it though. My boy outgrew it too soon!
@@Mudford thanks. I’m surly glad to find your channel. Do you by chance remember the website you bought the jet kit from?
I think it was in a kit from www.midwestmini.com
@@Mudford thanks bud

What Year is it I'm getting a 1980 you think that good choice or no
I didn’t think that Suzuki built LT80’s before 1987.
how fast do they go ?
danny guin The only time I checked was with a 250 lb man on it. It went just over 30 mph. I imagine it would be a little faster with a kid on it. It’s not really set up for top end speed. The tracks my boy raced on were not very big and had lots of tight corners.
25 mph stock with a 55kg rider in my experience
Bro you're not about to race an lt80 stop with the click bait that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard
Bro his kid is about to race a lt80.. not a grown ass man
@@jamescall25 lol
@@loadthebowl am I missing something
@@jamescall25 yeah Noone races an lt80 there's no class for that
@@loadthebowl its probably a local thing. I've seen little kids race them before at my local flat track. He probably just miss spoke when he titled the video.
