I'm sounding the alarm on TK & WW!!! I'm a wedding photographer and just joined 2 months ago, paying $629/month for the Spotlight plan. I thought that this would help me to break into the SoCal wedding industry faster since I moved here from HI. My visibility has increased, but 95% of them sound like bots with copy & paste responses. I have watched their webinars and read their articles on how turn your inquiries into bookings. I have done everything they advised and updated my pages consistently, and so far, I have booked 1 wedding...and that was AFTER I lowered my rates 3 times just to get a yes. I have no problem paying their monthly fees if I felt that the value was there. I advise against joining TK & WW and will be doing everything I can to get out of my contract.
Personally, it’s helped my business BIG TIME. I paid for the lowest plan, and I had booked with 20 couples in just a few months. This has opened up so many opportunities for me. I pay like 200$ a month. This is my personal experience
Hi! Marissa. Great information to know. Glad I saw this video. I spoke with a rep from the Knot/Weddingwire . It's expensive , and from your experience this would be non- benefitting to me as a wedding band performer. Thanks for the advice!
Great information! I was contacted recently by a representative of theirs and have a zoom meeting set up this morning. After watching your video and a couple more on the same subject, I will not be signing up with that service. Your video is a little to choppy though. Thanks again!
I love this video! I had a similar experience as you! I did not find the high price tag worth it, and also when you stop using the service they won’t allow you to remove your page or alter it unless you sign up again. I wish I didn’t succumb to the FOMO too! Thanks for another great video
I agree. Just left them, they are trying to keep me on the hook for an extra mo th of fees too. Not worth the price, they just want to get money from vendors. Stay away!
Wish I had seen this before I signed up. They are not worth it. If you want to cancel, they own the content you put on their website. You are not allowed to delete it.
So glad I found this before I signed up for this😩!!

They don't have a free version anymore.
Thumbtack for me is another amazing option! I budget $300/month. I’m going to look into these options

Thank you for the video. In 2022 it’s 420 a month 😮, so it’s 5000 a year!

Great video. Could you also do a video on Thumbtack?
They don’t let me cancel the contract and I don’t get no bookings
Happened to me too sad to say ☹️ when is your contract up with them?
I’m in the same boat. Can’t get out. Contacting a lawyer. Anyone have any success getting out of it?

How do you get out of paying the monthly payments?
Useless scam. Renting booths at good wedding expo's is a far better investment - direct marketing rules.
