I newer had a NDE but had a dream so vivid I can tell the details even now after maybe 30 years . There was this city and around that cliffs up to the clouds . I was climbing the cliffs on the ladder and was so scared to look down . Than I reached the top and some beings dressed in white robes were helping me off the ladder. Than I woke up . I felt very strange and emotional . I newer remember dreams ever , but always will remember this and think there is some very important significance .

I'm also very glad you did not get buried in man's religions as you would have had to un-learn a lot of crap! Wonderful! I loved the story of the surgeon and the patient's wife that burst in while he was writing out the death certificate. The doctor shouldn't have been so perplexed, but thankful that he was given a gift, the gift of truth. He had a great experience with a patient and his wife which was great evidence of life ongoing.

Dr. Moody seems to be implying that "nonsense," i.e., that which has not inherent meaning, just by virtue of having identifiable pattern, actually contains meaning after all. That lies comfortably within the realm of Chaos, where boundaries are messy and look completely random, and yet within themselves at deeper "levels"," contain very meaningful non-random systems entire. I just have to add that I love this man. His like are rare in this world.

I have really started to believe that it is not about religion, but that it is about how spiritual a person is, because there are so many religious nutters out there, who twist, distort, take money, lie etc etc....so at the end of the day, it is a personal thing between you, God, Jesus, Spirituality.

I would love to ask dr moody the question....that if we/human beings had no way of creating memories, if there was no such thing as memories then would time even exist?
If we never knew we were here yesterday then we would never know that we will still be here tomorrow...
What im saying is that, I believe that time does not exist, that it is an elusion that we humans have created so we can make sense of the world around us, and thats why we are unable to understand that there is only the eternal now and nothing else...

I had a very vivid NDE in 2004 that has caused me to believe as Raymond Moody. I do not need to worship buildings, statues, or give money to an organized religion. I believe religions were founded to control the masses. The place and being I was with during my NDE would never require money to be involved in my existence. I believe I am temporarily on this planet because a very loving entity wants me to become a better spirit in another realm and I am temporarily in school to learn the lessons I need and to help others in this realm to also become better. Put it in the perspective of being at boarding school. When I have completed my lessons I can go home. Eventually, I will have to come back to learn new lessons....

AFTER DEATH EXPERIENCES, IS THERE ANY NEED FOR RELIGION? Instead of answering by yes or no, Moody says he never understood what was meant by religion, and gives a kind of definition from his friend "NATHAN KATZ" (cough, cough!). MOODY HAS A RELIGION, BUT HE LIES ABOUT RELIGION! I know what is a religion and I did not need a professor of religious studies to tell me what it is! I never met anybody without a "RELIGION" in my entire life!
"Christelle Bessou is not married, has no children, speaks of no mother, no father, no brother, no sister, no family, not of helping the needy, and has no intention to explore the joys and benefits of the present dimension, which she readily shuns or denies because of personal bad experience, but after a Near-Death-Experience in 2010 that led to her “ENLIGHTENEMENT” and to “MODIFY HER CONSCIENSE” by “falling into it”, her goal is now to “EXPLORE OTHER DIMENSIONS OF LIFE”!
      ruclips.net/video/PZ3-uz4185A/видео.html
The term NDE (NEAR-DEATH-EXPERIENCE) was coined by psychiatrist Raymond Moody around 1975. Since my early twenties I have been and remained an anti-psychiatrist for the past half a century! Now, Christelle's life has changed radically, she says, and she preaches “WORLD UNIFICATION”. Like so many other nutcases she preaches her “new” mumbo-jumbo religion of “Mourir à soi pour Renaître à l'Essence-Ciel” an absurdity about “DYING FOR SELF AND BEING RE-BORN INTO HEAVENLY-ESSENCE”, “ VIBRATION-TRANSMUTATION-UNIFICATION AT THE SERVICE OF SPIRITUAL AND GRAVITATIONAL ASCENSION”! This reminds me slightly of David Icke who started by rejecting all religions, took some drugs and became enlightened on the spot. He started preaching his new religion of LOVE and SHAMANISM that he later replaced with his new religion and New Gods of EMPATHY, VIBRATION, HOLOGRAPHY, GALACTICS, and CONSCIOUSNESS! He keeps repeating these terms ad nauseam! Ask David any question; he always finds a way to slip these terms in his answer or answers!" [BAFS Addressed to French Dr. Jean-Jacques Charbonier]

that's very interesting. I am bi-lingual and every time I used the word "spirituality" to my close buddy in English, putting the meaning of my mother tongue into it, which was so obvious to me, he used to look up at me with a strange grin in his face. He didn't buy my explanations...and to me it was like "hey, what is so hard to understand here". Here, with Doctor Moody touching a little bit on it, realizing that my buddy is not alone not to dig it , it is giving me a nice sense of relief.

We live in a physical world. We can not know what the spirit world is like. We do have opinions and beliefs about it.

Sorry to differ with you since I experienced life outside my physical body. It's true but only when you experience it yourself will you realize it. When you do you will feel freedom like never before.

Never read any of his books. First time I have heard him speak. My take: With his background in science and philosophy and lack of interest of religion. He seems to over intellectualize things like NDE's. He put's it in a way in he is familiar with in his upbringing through stories and observation while acknowledging an experience like NDE's. He Intellectualizes it just a bit too far beyond just the "Observation" of something happening after the body dies. I have never been able to put NDE's in a certain realm but, acknowledge something does exist after death through reasonable deduction of other NDE's ie: Life after death! To me...that's where it all begins! I don't need to make order or sence of it, but only acknowledge it exists! If I start to ask what is existstance is...then all gets lost in the observation! (Shit, where did i come up with all this? Damn you Moody. lol) Just my take on Mr. Moody at this moment and time...on RUclips!

Near death hallucinations, are not real death. It is all in the "wording." Had Raymond coined the term “Near death hallucinations,” rather than “Near death experiences,” would he then have had a "following?" Raymond Moody. Raymond A. Moody, Jr. (born June 30, 1944) is a philosopher, psychologist, physician and author, most widely known for his books about life after death and near-death experiences (NDE), a term that he coined in 1975 in his best-selling book Life After Life.

Time that's a no brainer! it is the part of space invented to prevent every thing that can and will possibly happen in space not happening all at the same instant in a same place.

This man is absolutely right. Religion has caused far more harm than good. God did not make religion. Man did. There is the problem. God is love. There is no room for violence ,judgement or hate.
