      @mynameisschezuanyou don't understand anything my man. Rimac is a showcase of technology. Volkswagen cares about Rimac Technology. The car industry relies heavily on this business that's highly successful and profitable

    • @patrick8167-d2u
      @patrick8167-d2u 7 months ago +12

      @techtt6213 I heard Rimac was struggling to sell cars because people spending money at that price tag don't want an EV which I understand. But I also agree that bigger manufacturers would benefit from owning Rimac as the EV technology there is pushed to the limit, feeding back into everyday cars - Kinda like how porsche/audi went into hybrid LMP1 and formulaE to develop their road car tech.

    • @warmygreenfields
      @warmygreenfields 7 months ago +39

      @mynameisschezuan VW is 250 billion euros in debt. Rimac have the best electric car tech in europe (on par with chinese and american tech) and also a partnership with Hyundai/Kia (which also have 10% of Rimac stock). A lot of other brands seek attention from Rimac, some of them already have partnerships. The scheme between VW-Bugatti-Rimac is hilariously complicated, you may further research this yourself... :)

      @techtt6213 7 months ago

      Trust me, each of these companies has a better version of each of those car guy types. You thing Konig does not have top tier driving talent that gives him all the information he needs about his cars during development? you think Singer does not have a top tier engineer and driver giving him the info he needs during development? You think Mate does not have someone drawing his cars as beautifully as possible and engineers making them the best they can be? If you watched this video, you know they all have the best of the best working with what each CEO is giving them to create the ultimate version of each car.

      Yeah, and I also have a feeling it was Mate who may of been part of the reason Christian got back into record attempts!! Before he said he was tired of it with the Regera, and would no longer be chasing records, and ofc the main competitor at the time was Bugatti Chiron under the old French CEO. It wasn't until Mate merged companies and took over the CEO position Chirstian's gotten back into it, so maybe it's the more friendly rivalry that he is now able to enjoy again, since they clearly have spoken a fair bit prior to this video (just my theory).

      I noticed this too! They had such a chivalry for each other's cars, regardless of stature or horsepower. You can tell cars aren't just a business for them, but a real art and passion for them. Real car people know never to open it up from cold - especially if it's with another's car :)

    • @PrimalInstinct0704
      @PrimalInstinct0704 6 months ago +2

      @corydaboss Unless its freezing temperatures outside, it doesnt matter as much on modern car engines. If its a hot summer day, the oil is already going to be viscous enough to be able to flow freely which is what really matters. The metal isnt going to be affected unless its below freezing temps outside. Its more just a remnant of the carb days, except for the oil part.

    • @smoothmidnightfudge7450
      @smoothmidnightfudge7450 6 months ago +4

      @PrimalInstinct0704 even so, it was still extremely polite/respectful of them to ask. Plus, singers are built to look and feel old-school-it might’ve just been reflex!

    • @corydaboss
      @corydaboss 4 months ago

      @smoothmidnightfudge7450 that was exactly my thought! Plus, the moving parts of an engine certainly must be warmer than the outside air. I equate it to warming up before a workout - it's always better to be safe than sorry (especially with a hand-built Singer 😎)
