He deflects (not reflects) damage, which means the dmg doesn't have to land like with reflect damage. With reflect you send back a % of damage you've taken, so it does nothing if you take no dmg, like under block dmg buff. With deflect it will send damage back before landing so it acts like a damage mitigater & you can use block damage buff. I think Geo's the only one with this ability. It's amazing the difference one letter makes in this game.

My Iron Twins setup is Emic, 2 Painkeepers, Geo and Coldheart/Rathalos/Acrizia, works like a charm and each run is 1-2 min depending on the other dps and affinity of the boss. Got Emic at 271 speed, Painkeepers at lvl 50 with 254 and 253 speed. Turned off Geo's A2, so it's an effective unkillable team with close to 100% success rate. Can only get screwed up some times if Coldheart/Rathalos/Acrizia happens to damage the boss just over the threshold for his counter attack, which might kill a painkeeper before Emic refreshes the unkillable buff.
Alright, I realized I didn't have full masteries on Geo so I did that, Warmaster, and now I did a run in 40 sec with Coldheart, god damn that was a nice surprise.

I ended up finally pulling him about a month ago than got lucky and got his 6 star awakening on a recent lesser 10x pull during the event than pulled a second geo...
Wow!! I still don’t have a single useful 6 star soul. Only get the champs I don’t have/use
Have 2 geo isn’t a bad thing if you want to make one specifically speed tuned for iron twins then have the other one speed tuned for clan boss
is there any cheap and good replacement for siphi? got all the champs except her
A good epic that could feel her role as a healer is godseeker aniri, I don’t have her but she has revive on death so it’s possible you could just sacrifice the increased defense and let him apply defense down and then take bigger hits to get more damage out of geomancer, it might wipe your whole team but then godseeker would revive everyone and reset debuffs at the same time removing your iron brand back to zero. Would take some testing but maybe look up some guides on how to set her up if you have her

i still havent pulled him. almost everything hes good in ive already solved but iron twins is not one of them. cant wait to get him
Geo is one of my favorite champs
Kinda weird team for iron twins with geo in team. U dont want decrease speed, you want boss to attack you as much as possible with HP burn on him so team with high survivability is to go imho.
The problem with that idea is that I need more time to recover HP between his attacks so I need to slow him down to not get overwhelmed too quickly. Taking more hits definitely works well for a speed tuned unkillable comp tho
