      +22 subscribers and 2 videos there are mountains of evidence suggesting that black holes exist. Did you hear about the detection of gravitational waves? They calculated what those waves should look like and the measurement fit the theory exactly. They came from merging black holes.
      To be honest if it turns out they they don't exist then that will throw physics on its head. Its much more probable that they do.

    • @Kaboom1212Gaming
      @Kaboom1212Gaming 8 лет назад +24

      no I think he means when he actually gets right on top of the black hole and everything starts spinning. The reason why that happens is because the black hole is rotating at an extremely fast speed. Multiple times per second. so when he get to it, he actually hits the black hole. And in space engine, that means he "landed" on the black hole. So the camera starts to spin with it :D

    • @baussier134
      @baussier134 7 лет назад +6

      I don't know if Space Engine includes gravitational time dilation, but if positive, so the time approaching the black hole you go right into the future, so the stars that orbit the BH will start to make entire orbits in seconds, so this is why everything blink!

    • @Kaboom1212Gaming
      @Kaboom1212Gaming 7 лет назад +3

      @Bionyx and @Leonardo Silva No not quite. This version of space engineers had Balck holes as a physical object you could land on. However, as it is spinning incredibly fast when you land on it the camera is dragged along the surface :)
      The current version features more realistic black holes that don't have surfaces and even have redshifting!

    • @Kaboom1212Gaming
      @Kaboom1212Gaming 7 лет назад +2

      I'm sorry, but I truly am right. I used to have this version of space engine. Every black hole you 'landed' on had this same effect. As I said, it's caused from landing on the object which is spinning extremely fast. Look at exactly 3:29 - 3:35, this is where they land on the object.(They land at 3:31) From there they move their mouse up to have the black hole cover the whole screen for cinematic effect.

    I don’t think anyone truly understands how lucky we are to be placed on a planet that sustains life. No one ever thinks about these colossal black holes that roam the galaxy. And yes, these things MOVE. one could very well end up swallowing earth whole at some point in time, we just don’t know when that will be. Black holes are the scariest, most mysterious entities in space, and the more we learn about them, the scarier they get.

    They say for a star to become a black hole it has to be crushed to its Schwartzchild radius. Comparably, that is like taking the earth and crushing it down to the size of a peanut. Or crushing New York City to the size of a single grain of sand. It's at that point the mass collapses into itself and the black hole begins its consumption. The fact that anything at all could be crushed down that small is mind boggling.

    the fact that are solar system takes 100,000 years to go around the whole galaxy while those stars near the black hole only take like 1 month. Sagittarius A is basically The black hole that makes the entire galaxy be able to be together and spin around

    • @thetimelords911
      @thetimelords911 6 лет назад +3

      Actually, the supermassive black hole at the center's of galaxies dont even have any influence on stars 1 light year away. Gravity is just too weak. While they are important for EARLY galaxy formation, what we are actually orbiting is the overall collective gravity of the entire galaxy and its dark matter.

    WJ animation, It didn't crash it ends because you end, your body ripped and stretched until you are but a string of atoms in line you are spaghettified the graviational influence it gives you depends on the size and that goes in first for example your foot. If you put your foot in first you would feel the stronger influence of gravity there than your head it truely is scary but if we find one and I'm dying from a terminal illness I want to go there with a camera to record my last seconds reaching the black hole.

    It’s what’s alien to mankind that scares us most, traveling through a dark cave is much scarier then traveling through one with light, not knowing what lurks within or what happens next that scares us most. That’s why you can relate death with darkness they are both alien concepts to us and not knowing what they are is what scares us most or what lurks within that scares us most. That’s why we relate faith or belief with light, belief lets you know and make what’s alien to you no more. Light does the same exact thing, if you shine a light in the cave you now know what’s lurking in front of you. Black holes are scary cause we don’t under stand them and light doesn’t work on them either,
    like most of the universe it’s unknown and the that’s why space is terrifying

      @mrpythagoras7079 6 лет назад

      @Right here Right now not necessarily. I mean I'm still a Christian and even I can say this video is quite terrifying. We're all aware of how black holes form (well, in theory) but when you actually see it instead of read it, it just gives you that sense of uncomfort....

    • @user-sj2vg8hb5q
      @user-sj2vg8hb5q 6 лет назад

      Sero o Oh ok. Do you think it is weird that it didn't scare me, rather that I would love to die this was if I could? I mean, I would get to see everything that has happened and will ever happen in one take, as I decend towards the singularity. I really love black holes, and I would give my life up just to be part of one and get to experience the finality of our universe.

    • @mrpythagoras7079
      @mrpythagoras7079 6 лет назад

      @Right here Right now No it's not weird at all. I'll be honest even I want to jump in a black hole if I ever get the chance LOL. Who wouldn't want to see what's inside? Maybe it's actually a wormhole, or there might just be nothing but darkness and all you feel is extreme pain and agony as you fall in :/
